Advance track of what is claimed to be the true follow up to The Key?? Due out late May on Profound Lore

Haven't had the chance to listen to it yet, must give it a spin tomorrow at work...

Yeah its sounds good, better than i expected.

It definitely has the sound of The Key spot on. Looking forward to this.

Listening to this again after hearing the Mike Browning interview on the Heavy Hole podcast. It's a great album and the vocals which I initially thought were weak are really growing on me. Definitely one of the stronger comeback albums in recent memory.

Was actually just coming on here to mention that interview, well worth a listen not just if you like Nocturnus but as he chats about Morbid Angel/Incubus as well. Comes across as a decent chap, no real ego or airs to speak of. Cool podcast overall too, really enjoyed the Timeghoul interview - I'd say anyone here with an interview with Death Metal old or new really should give it a listen

"Paradox" is great as well. I actually rate it over "the Key"

Wow. Looks like Louis Panzer (keyboardist for the first two albums, and the guy who fucked Mike Browning over) grew up to become Phil Hogan.

Ha, I wondered what happened to him... he grew up i guess! Mike is clearly not a fan of his....

I found an early shot of Phil Hogan  ::)

Listening to the self titled EP from 1993 and it's surprisingly aggressive. Closer to The Key than Thresholds, definitely worth a listen. Vocals aren't a patch on Browning's though.
