Somehow we haven't got a thread for Nocternity yet but Amor Fati Productions have just reissued a few of their early EPs and their debut album and a nice looking new t-shirt design so now is as good a time as any to praise this excellent band.

I'm only familiar with Harps of the Ancient Temples and Onyx, both of which are a master class in epic mid paced black metal, so the reissues are a must have for me.

Allegibly there's a new album in the works as well!

Onyx is class too, I got one of the dragonskin covers too. They are bit underrated and fly under the radar but as you say Harps is a nice bit of midpaced pagan metal.

Only familiar with the last two albums as well, and Harps a lot more than Onyx, but savage band. Didn't even realise they had another album. Will look into this.

Same as that. I'm listening to the debut now and I'll no doubt grab an LP in the near future.

I have the LP reissue of A Fallen Unicorn on. One thing that has occurred to me the few times I've had this on is how close it sounds, at least in terms of production, to In the Nightside Eclipse. It's incredibly dense and fuzzy with dim and distant vocals but with strong and epic songwriting to go with it. It's excellent.

I also picked up En Oria which is much clearer sounding. I've only spun it a couple of times but I like it.

Onyx is mighty, the LP cover is one of my favourites.

The recent EP comp they released is weird. Having a look on spotify and its supposed to be all EPs and splits but only has A Fallen Uniform and no other tunes from that, from what I can see. Also has the title track of the last album. Seems like a messy mix match so I'm not listening to it.

Sounds like one to avoid so. The second side of AFU sounds to me like a mix between early Emperor and Burzum. There's a dungeon synthy cover of Björk in there too.

It's the stuff from the splits plus the self titled Nocternity EP and the Harps of The Ancient Temples EP. That track is different recording from the full length of same name.

But it's not exactly a complete package, no. However I do not own the splits or those two EPs so happy to have it.
