Were they the only supporters there?

I thought the games had to be played with no supporters.

Stadium probably had tunnels...

Quote from: Pat Twisted Wrath on September 27, 2026, 09:13:27 AMIt will be interesting to see the balancing act from some Sky pundits (particularly Gary Neville) who continued to wax lyrical about City/Pep even when the magnitude of the charges/allegations were realised.

Of course, City deserved their day in court, innocent until proven guilty, etc, but Sky ran out of superlatives to describe how incredible City's achievements were season on season. In their eyes, does that now all change, is it all tainted? It should be - it was built on a rotten foundation.

In terms of punishment, it should be expulsion, but that wont happen because the PL wont have the bollocks in my opinion. The minimum should be enough of a points deduction to guarantee relegation; an ungodly fine; and as lengthy a transfer ban as can be handed down.

Honestly its the biggest scandal of the premier league era.

and imagine, it was over a football match they lost 0-3...

Hahaha, no....
£10m in his first season...
£218m (net) in his second season. They (Liverpool) sold players for a value of £262m in that same transfer window...

A tad less than £900m

He still spent £450 million last summer. The only time people bring up nett spend is when they're trying to defend their team wasting millions on shit players. You don't get United fans doing it.

Because nothing can help defend "Spend £300 million on the likes of Onana and Sancho, and recoup £87.50 and a bag of Doritos."  :)

That's pretty undefendable alright
I had actually forgotten about Sancho, oh God. I must check him out and see where he's at nowadays.
He was actually brilliant at Dortmund that time, but the PL is a big step up from the Bundesliga for some players.

Edit: Looks like he's a free agent now. I saw last year that Chelsea had to pay £5m not to sign him from Utd
That's nuts....

City claiming now they have "irrefutable proof" that will clear them of everything. If that's the case they probably should have handed it over at any point in the last eight years this has been going on. Hope the club gets absolutely destroyed for this
