Anyone see this craic the other week at Keep it True?


John Cyriis would give Axl Rose a run for his money, Apparently he took bookings for the band but forgot to assemble a lineup, only doing so the week of the gig. According to posts in the wake of the gig, he refused to get out of a taxi because the festival hadn't provided security , arriving on stage almost 2 hours late, band were completley shambolic and spent 4 songs looking at each other as you would with such little rehearsal. Afterward, Cyriis attacked one of his bandmates and trashed his hotel room, cancelling the remainder of the dates in the process.

Yeah, some great records there. As a kid listening to that stuff I always pictured them as a sophisticated bunch of serious musicians but Cyriis seems to be an utter fruit loop. I do feels sorry for those musicians, must've been death hitting the stage.

Cyris looks absolutely fucked, vocals are terrible. Guarantee you though they'll still end up being booked for summer fests.

Was sent this image of a message reply on the whole discussion (now deleted) as the guy in question is a nationally famous walking-joke. Having the displeasure of knowing Igor Lopes myself, I don't question Cyriis' opinion about him one bit, but if he thinks he's going to get any "justice" through the Brazilian legal system he's got another thing coming. Good luck with that!

Their whole comeback thing is pathetic to be honest, a sequence of absolutely poor choices..
