Metal Church announced the new lineup there looks sweet! Dave Ellefson on Bass, Drummer that was with Flotsam past few years. Not too familiar with the vocalist but could work out well.

Setlist to include;
Watch The Children Pray
Little Boy
Toys In The Attic
Monster

I don't even have to do pun versions

Other than the debut and The Dark, which are both pretty good, I've never gone further on Metal Church

Is there anything else worth checking out, or are they another Annihilator and you can just stop after the first two?

Recent releases probably heading toward Annihilator territory but two records worth your time are Blessing in Disguise and Human Factor - I rate those as highly as the first two but they're two different albums style wise.

Hanging in The Balance is pretty good too if you can get over the the shocking artwork. It's worth having but doesn't hit the same heights.

After that a real mixed bag.

Nah, they're consistently good/very good without ever being amazing, I would say. Blessing In Disguise, The Human Factor and Hanging In The Balance is a great run of albums, despite the awful covers, and the albums since the start of the century have all been decent. Annihilator had a higher peak but Metal Church have been far, far more consistent.

Cheers lads, never heard anything mentioned about their stuff past The Dark so figured it was all a bit shite, I'll check out those ones mentioned

Edit: Just saw the cover for Hanging in the Balance, what the absolute fuck?!😂

Yeah  :laugh:

Edit -> I don't think they've ever had a decent cover, to be honest, but that one stands head and shoulders above the rest and would stand out even among a collection of the worst covers ever 🤣

I like the songs, though, the first two tunes are class, in particular.
