I just saw this getting a push from Black Metal Promotion on YouTube and fired it on. Ok, it is maybe only tangentially black metal, but you can hear references from Bergtatt era Ulver, later Enslaved and Altar of Plagues. It ain't grim and it ain't necro, but it is really good. I love the vocal harmonies,  and the use of cello in particular kind of brings a wintry Agalloch feel to it. Impressive.

Interesting, some nice melodies.... :abbath:

Was sent it yesterday and enjoyed it. Not something I'd put on and fear it may have missed the ideal time for the style but it's well written, performed and presented. Cello and mix of vocals works very well on top of good musicianship. Hope it does well for them.

Looking at the amount of downloads/ purchases on their bandcamp and plays on YouTube it seems they are gathering a head of steam. They might want to get a better logo as the one they have is a bit, eh, weird*... but musically they are hitting the spot. I think they would do well on a tour with Enslaved or the like. Maybe Primordial.

*maybe confused is the word.

Gave this a listen just because its Irish but its not really my thing. Its way more post than black. Not bad though, can't really fault anything...other than the logo.

The first song has a bit off Dautha in the mix I think.

I had it on again just now. Going to have to pick it up soon. Really good stuff I think.

Just threw on the first track there and yeah, really good stuff. The cellos and female vocals are a nice touch.

The vocals are great from all involved. Love the layering.
