Still not convinced by them. The first track on the EP is painful and the rest doesn't really do a whole for me. It's just like a slightly more aggro current day Enslaved with flourishes of the last DHG.

That's a very decent track, the riffing (and drumming) reminds me of the Ulver début for sure.

Is an odd one to release as a single but it's something that sounds like it would make sense at the start or the end of the album. But then, I'm more likely to defend it as I'm predisposed to liking it as I have been looking forward to something new from them for ages.

DVEN seen to be dividing opinion but I have to say I think they are doing something really interesting. Songwriting I believe it's called  They aren't the darkest BM band in the world but they have other qualities that really work for me. I went to order the book CD edition and with postage to Oz it was seventy fucking euro! Me bollix! Its not THAT good  I ended up settling for the pauper digi CD instead and now I'm hoping it won't take months and months to arrive. Let's find out...

Watching footage of them live from Prophecy Feet and they deliver. I have to go back to the album.  The production is a bit tame- the guitars are way too low in the mix- but the songs are really good.
