I'm sure there's a fan or two here, first two albums got a reissue there.

Vic Records will rerelease Through The Impure Veil Of Dawn and Wings Of The Nightstorm on November 28th; both faithfully restored and remastered by Thus Defiled front man Paul C., both with extensive liner notes from Officium Triste's Pim Blankenstein and both with bonus tracks drawn from recently uncovered 1994 rehearsal tapes – including songs that have never been made available before. Revisit the dark days of black metal's church burning ascendency and walk in the twilight shadows of Thus Defiled once more...

Anyone manage to pick them up?

Patiently waiting for a copy of Wings of the Nightstorm to pop through the door, as I think it is the only album I am missing of theirs.  Really must revisit their discography.  I listened to them quite a bit in the 00s, especially Weeping Holocaust Tears, but not much since.

Rarewaves (I'm in the north). Got the email saying it had been sent 23 December.

Cool, I'll have a look. The few sites I tried were quoting 10 fecking euro postage. Nonsense for a CD.

I don't think I ever heard any of Thus Defiled's albums, maybe the first one. I was very familiar with the demos at one point, I probably still have the second one somewhere.

I was looking at a small band's CD on Bandcamp last night, €12 for postage from Engerland. Off they can fuck, but it's not unheard of.

Same reason I didn't buy the most recent Slomatics album, it'd be the guts of €25 by the time I get it posted.

Really is a pet peeve, and we know they aren't the postage costs. They'll do themselves out of sales.

They were one of those 90s UK black metal bands that everyone seemed to be into.

I still have the 'Through the impure veil of dawn' longsleeve from back then. They played Cork twice in the mid/late 90s!
