Probably not many fans on here but some great news today that not only one of the best bands to ever come out of Sweden have reformed but they also have a new album that is already recorded, available and shipping.

I have always loved this band and they broke up before I was even aware they existed it's great to see them reformed 20 years later. I was very disappointed with I am when it came and I think the Ond Spiritism is probably the weakest even though most seem to think it's the bands best release. For me the songs are just too slow on it.

Any other fans?

This was pretty surprising news - but they'll need to create something pretty arresting for it to be at all relevant or interesting, especially in black metal terms.

'Ond Spiritism' always felt like something of a chore, as much as it's considered essential in the orthodox Swedish black metal sphere, much like Ondskapt's 'Dödens Evangelium'.

Also, here's hoping Danielsson has only lent his hand to the artwork. We don't need another Watain.

Word about it so far seems very positive everyone that has heard it seems to like it which is good. The pricks though still haven't even put a sample out yet I am dying to hear what it sounds like.

Only True Believers is a class album.  If the new material  is up to that standard I am eager to hear it.

Its very good have been listening since last week. The 2nd track Ond is probably my favourite.

Yeah, really strong. Couple listens so far and it's drawing me back, something which few contemporary albums manage to do.
