Spinning the remaster of Jesu s/t.
Bought it a few years back.

Not sure what to make of it tbh.

I like it, but find it maybe a bit too 'sensitive' for most of the album.

Saying that, the last 2 tracks 'Man / Woman' & 'Guardian Angel' are fcking immense sounding.

great album, I've never actually listened to the remastered version. Have a copy on cd for years. I haven't listened to them properly in years now. This and the silver EP are brilliant

Watched Ripley this week, starring Andrew Scott. Really enjoyed it. Nice and slow, beautifully shot, just very enjoyable to watch all round.

I thought that was brilliant now. Even better than the movie I dare say. Scott is very well cast in it

yea, it got canned. So many great shows short lived. Channel 4 really knew how to deliver excellent shows to be fair. A lot of one offs too. It was canned due to low viewing figures and the budget constraints. It is a pity considering how brilliant it is

I'm rewatching Utopia at the moment with herself as she's never seen it. It's one of the best shows ever. This is the original one now from Channel 4, not the remake. Love the story and cinematography. Highly recommended!

The Altars Of Madness lineup in 2026 is pretty depressing in fairness.

As said above, I'm really glad I seen the classic lineup years ago. Perhaps Halford should just go solo and play the few priest Tunes live

No. As Eoin McLove said above it would be interesting if they did something different, even within the general area of FF but given the band name(s) they've chosen, I don't see that happening.

well, that lineup wrote Archetype, and if they continued down that road I would be very happy. I didn't care for Transgression all that well bar a few tracks on it. If they got Burton and got some good songs together it would be cool, all the more if they did manage to try something a bit different that works.

Finally got around to watching Saipan. Coogan does a great Mick McCarthy to ba fair and yer man Éanna Hardwicke is  brilliant I thought.

Anybody else see that old Raymond and Christian have teamed up under the name Machines Of Hate? This interests me a great deal

Also, the synthy bits on Decay really give it that extra something when they get going. Could be guitar possibly, thinking of his Guitar and Bass Improvisations thing he had out years ago but it's lovely whatever it is

yea, for sure. I think Decay is a combination of the last two albums. It's certainly 9ne of their darkest albums. The synth bits are more prominent on Post Self I thought. But they are class. I really need a few listens of the new one to properly soak it up though. Where's a good place to pickup the new album? don't want to get shafted with import charges. I see a lot of USA sites I want to avoid

Actually, I was also thinking last night that I'd love a proper in depth detailed documentary on Godflesh. I mean, yea we all know our stuff. But it would be cool

I watched this last night. Really good analysis on all major Godflesh releases. It doesn't include the new album is all. Really worth the watch if you're a neeerd

I watched The Long Good Friday the other night. Someone recommended it here  thought it was very good, bit dated, very good performances all around. Nice and gritty
