Totally agree, enjoyed the majority of the Ki songs I was skeptical about at first.

Don't know if I've ever seen a frontman as likable and engaging as Devin either. So many little small nuances and things throughout the show to make it memorable. My face was sore from smiling so much.

Makes it all the more tempting to head to Bloodstock to see him headline...

The excitement has started to kick in now!

Looking at the tour setlist,
Spoiler
still a tiny bit disappointed about the amount of Ki. Not that it isn't excellent in its own right, just compared to some other stuff in the discography.

Still, have very high hopes!

Did he get dragged off stage there and then?

You would hope he at least got a few thumps for being such a tool anyhow.

Not 100pc sure of the exact details - I think it was towards the end of his set and once they were done, the bouncer was straight over to him. This is what the Overdrive review said:

"Things take a bit of a bizarre turn, however, when O'Connor takes a knife that he had hidden on him on stage and decides to open his arm with the blade. He then licks the blood oozing from his wound and spits it into the crowd. Unorthodox approaches in metal and rock are encouraged, as it helps you to stand out, but self-mutilation is absolutely not.

That's not 'metal' in any form in the 21st Century, especially when the blood is also in the microphone, and somebody else has to use it after you're finished with it. After this episode, he is then escorted from the venue by security. This was a very odd end to their incredibly novel and seriously heavy setlist and left a lot of scratching heads as to why he thought this type of behaviour was acceptable."

Imrama announced that "due to recent events" or something such vague they are pulling out of the festival.  :abbath:

They were kicked off because someone made a joke about lights

FUCKING WHAT?!!
\

To be fair, this is the same band whose frontman slit his wrist on stage at a gig in Fibbers and was subsequently kicked out of the venue, so...

Apart from the people posting for "the laugh", it's true that the Facebook page seems mainly to be positive feedback. but sure look it...

Think it's more coming from a place of hope rather than expectation...
