They're playing Cork exclusively.

Couldn't say no to this lineup so went and booked tickets.
Looks like BÖLZER are hosting it which is awesome!

Archgoat (FI)
DOOL (NL)
BÖLZER (CH)
Molasses (NL)
Schammasch (CH)
Darkened Nocturn Slaughtercult (DE)
Trepaneringsritualen (SE)
Valborg (DE)
LOAD (CH)

Never been to Switzerland before, looks like a nice place.  :abbath:

Nice lineup. Zurich is a nice spot too. Expensive as balls though. Tenner for a pint.

Best of luck guys for 2020.  First time at this in 2019. Cracking venue, highlight of the year imo.  Will travel for this.

Cheers. Hoping to keep it steadily growing from year to year, both in terms of turnout and the quality of the lineup.

Best of luck with the event, fair play for sure, great to see all that.

Cheers fella. Fingers crossed we get enough heads in to be able to keep doing it.

Jaysus, no fear of your memory slipping anyway.

I think Cancer  were ment to play Dublinback in the early 90s with Immolation but they got replaced ?(someone can probably clear that up).

They were supposed to support deicide but it fell through for whatever reason

Very tempted by this, I don't mind the ticket price, it's grand for 2 decent days of metal, but it's the accomodation that'd clean me out. You'd have to head there the night before to get the most out if it (for me anyway, I'd have 2 buses to get each way) and it all adds up.

There's always Sheila's hostel. Never stayed there myself, but I've heard it's cheap and cheerful.

I think this is a better lineup. Cancer have never been here right? Or if they have it's been aeons. Rotting Christ are in ireland loads, Cancer, Benediction  will have the novelty factor, I think there'll be more at this one.

Cancer haven't played here before.

I'd have thought it was a much better lineup too, to be honest. Can't please everyone though, it seems

Benediction last announcement, nice old school bang of this one now.
Is Dave Ingram back doing vocals? Saw Benediction a little while ago and Dave Hunt said it was his last show

Yeah, Ingram is back roaring

Priced like that, 80 percent of tickets would need to sell to break even. It's not feasible.

Nice addition, alright.

It's a whopper lineup, and all.
But im still not feeling the full whack price value for it though.

They overpriced the last Evil Eye fest and it should on the door, apparently.
I cant see that happening for this, though.
Totally different vibe and setup.

Glad I nabbed an early bird, all the same.
Just hope I can actually go that weekend, now.

What would you charge, out of interest, for a weekend ticket for that lineup?

Hup!

Conan, necronautical and Owlcrusher announced today.

Two more announcements left.

and the booze is dirt chape...
... provided I can stop getting the missus pregnant.

I suspect there could be a correlation right there

Sounds a savage job alright, would love to go at some stage. What accommodation options do you have - is it just tents??

I've done it three different ways now (hotel, VIP camping, peasant camping)

Hotel was horrendous. Can't remember the name of the hotel, but there was no air con and temperatures were hitting the 40s, got fuck all sleep and when i took the bedsheets off the bed, there were tonnes of piss stains.

Peasant camping was grand, if you could find a decent spot to pitch your tent. There are no designated areas, so you just set it up kind of wherever and hope for the best. I wouldn't be leaving my passport there though. That said, there was more afterhours craic to be had there than the other options.

The best option by far was VIP camping. Access to showers and flushing toilets, access to the natural stand area, dedicated camping area security..... it's a no brainer. Just be aware that those areas seemed to be used for sleeping, not partying. The bars stay open til silly o clock though, so that's not really an issue.

Best open air festival I've been to. Definitely worth paying the extra few  quid for the VIP passes, even if only for the seated area a bit back from the main stages. Saved my ass more than once.

Food there is savage too, and the booze is dirt chape.

Can't go this year, but definitely hoping to make it to the next one, provided I can stop getting the missus pregnant.
