Quote from: Pagan Saviour on January 23, 2023, 08:24:59 PMIt doesn't really matter what they do it all sounds the same. The vocals were great to a point but they're so limited in scope.

True dat. Like every band thats been about as long I suppose.

First pic looks creepy as fuck

Some young one.
He filed for divorce from the wife of 25 years to go off with her.
Expensive ride, cause it will cost him half his net worth, approx $175 million.

It's pretty fucking pathetic in all fairness. If it was my auld lad, I'd bate the bastard, black and blue.

The last album I actually enjoyed anyway at all was Fall of Hearts. Since Jonas took over the songwriting (city burials and latest album), everything has been piss poor. I'm all for progression but .......

Horrid shite to be dealing with/listening to.

What do you expect from these lads, especially when Hetfield's going through a mid life crisis, dumping the missus, pounding a young one around the same age as his daughter.

Quote from: Grim Reality on September 19, 2022, 08:15:36 PMMB set was

-The Sickness
-Mountains Are Mine
-???? I missed the beginning. It sounded like something off Dust or Sullen Sulcus but I couldn't place it. Help me out!!
- A Dying Child...
- Old Rope
- Nothing Has a Centre

They were class and clearly enjoyed themselves on stage which was great to see.

Primordial were good. Nice to see them in such an intimate venue again.

Cheers Dude.
Wonder do they bother to record it for themselves? Seeing as they haven't played in two years, if it was me, I'd have someone up on the balcony recording the lot to look back on.

Any get the MB set list? Some pretty decent clips on YT. "A Dying Child ..." is a savage fucking track, clean vocals are fucking savage altogether.

Alright Guys,

1) I've got a nice collection of drum-less tracks (over 2,000), covering all genres including a nice metal section.
2) Also, have expansion pack for the Roland TD-30 Drum Module that contains over 60 additional Full Drum Kits to add to the module.

Anyone got anything of interest in the same vein to swap/trade?

Cheers

People,

I am putting in the process of putting together a Thin Lizzy Tribute Band.

I am a drummer who is looking for the following musicians .....

* Bass & Vocals
* Lead Guitar & Vocals
* Rhythm Guitar & Vocals

Ideally, I would like to get a Bass Player with main vocals for obvious reasons, but would settle for a guitar player with main vocals. Backing vocals for the other guitar players would be an added bonus also.

Those applying should have the following;

1. Their own transport with quality gear.
2. Must have experience of playing live.
3. Must know how to properly play (and like) Thin Lizzy's Music
4. Must be able to practice 1-2 times a week, until we learn a full set-list, initially mostly at weekends.
5. Must have the drive, determination and interest to learn a set-list of approx 20-30 tracks.
6. Age doesn't really matter to me once you have all of the above .......

About Me:
I'm 41 and have been playing music/drums since I was around 15 years old. I have played in numerous bands over the years (mostly Rock / Hard Rock / Metal) that played both original music and covers. I have a good bit of studio experience and alot of live experience. I have my own dedicated rehearsal space in Edenderry, Co. Offaly which is where practice will take place.

FINALLY ......
I'm putting this band together cause I love playing and want to get back out playing live and have a bit of craic.

This intends to be a serious project and intends to be a band that I hope gigs regularly, so no time-wasters need apply.

If you are interested and wanna play live, have a bit of craic and make some cash in the process, then drop me a PM with any info about yourself ...... Age, Experience etc and we will go from there.

Cheers

Also have never encountered ignorance like the cunts in the golden circle. In over 20 years of gigs I found the attitudes of some amazingly poor. One bird in particular really deserved a punch in the nose.

What was up with the cunts in the golden circle?
