There might be a good reason for it, but I always found it a bit off when a band turns their backs on the crowd after they've played a few songs already and then turn back when they start the song. It's not a surprise. We know it's them.

I wonder has the risk changed in terms of putting a band out on tour. It could be that post-Covid people are less discerning in what gigs they go to nowadays depending on funds so there's less risk to put a band out there. For example, last year I went to Wormrot and Night Demon without ever knowing either, as did one of my friends. I actually would have gone to Faetooth last weekend even though I only listened to them this week, but I was at Abhorration.

Hello. Was previously on MI but fell away from the whole online space. It might be just a post-Covid crest but it feels like metal has gained a second wind - obviously sans the metal bar socialising side of things.
