Anyine seen the live footage from Istanbul? Sounds incredible, new singer sounds class

Would love to see a thread of irish bands past and present like this. Im sure there are some cringe, I proabaly have a load of Nuclear reign some where on a hard drive somewhere....shame myspace is gone, I imagine that would be a goldmine.

i'm pretty excited about this, I seen some of the "auditions" on youtube and some were excellent. Be interesting to see what happens next. I expect a song to appear out of nowhere to be either shite or a banger.

Im teaching secondary music here and teach guitar to some ex pat kids. There is not much of a scene, mainly cover bands. Not that I would have the time anymore having my own kids to entertain.

Seems like yesterday, but was 18 years ago really. We played some good gigs and some terrible ones. Had ago at doing it I suppose and had fun.

Cheers.... we were, eh... we had fun I supposed. We weren't the best. 

Well I qualified as a teacher, couldn't get work. My wife got a job out here and so came out for her job and was able to get a job myself pretty soon after. Lifestyle is great. Lots of experiences out here that you wouldn't get at home. Been to the World cup, the F1... but no metal scene unfortunately.

Was an old user of MI and stumbled across this site. I went by Nuclear-Reign... was also guitar player in Nuclear-Reign. Living in Doha, Qatar for 8 years now. Not much of a scene at all here. Hoping Metallica might stop by after announcing Abu-Dhabi and Bahrain. One can hope...
