Festival so a few bands going at any one time. I've seen bands start and finish after headliners on other stages but never start after the headliner is finished.

I saw them last year and the sound was incredible compared to when I saw them years ago. At a festival and all which can be hit and miss with the audio.

Don't some of the Euro festivals have a headliner and then a smaller band after them?

Not that I've seen. Headliner is the end of the festival, fireworks etc.. I've seen DJs play after in a tent alright after headliners but no bands.

I got searched at the Three Arena going to see Wu Tang Clan and Nas in 2023.

The gas thing there was they clearly weren't looking for people with the devil's lettuce on them as the amount of people lighting up at it was mad.

They are just checking for drink or weapons sure. Not Ireland but a bouncer found a bag of MDMA in my pocket and he just said don't be obvious and handed it back to me.

Went last year for the first time, first festival in years actually. Was good craic, did the glamping which my old bones thanked me for. Well organised, not a massive festival so nothing was too far away. 4 days of music this year. They have a bar setup called el presidio with DJs playing all weekend, you can easily lose a few hours in there skulling jack and cokes while dancing on the tables.

With the extra day of music this year I'm not sure on the setup but last year at least the actual festival entrance wasn't giving wristbands until Friday because its free on Thursday for locals, so you get a wristband for camping and a different one for the festival (which you have to walk the long way around to get at the main entrance).

A load of free and constantly cleaned flush toilets beside the swamp stage, always a queue but it moves fast.

Local council announced last year in the run up that taxis within the festival and city could be max 25 euro or something. Haven't seen it yet this year but good to know as it's a bit of fucking around to get from the train station to the expo center for the bus out.

Powerwolf headlining the final night over Lamb of God is a decision but sure look it.

Saw him solo acoustic 10+ years ago in some random pub in Bournemouth, class night.

Me too but why are Nailbomb so far down the listings? They should be near headliners. Short set so i might try and catch them at a full show somewhere.

Sure their only album is just over 50mins and the slot is 50mins so will get through most of it.

They removed the black face episode from Mad Men on Netflix, complete nonsense.

I often see Opeth get a lot of hate. A lad at a festival years ago described them to me as The Doors of metal, still don't know what he meant.

Was a better gig then I expected. Black and blue from the moshing my body can't take the punishment anymore but to be fair they were some proper pits. Heard Fibbers was an absolute shit show after, worse than the Green Room before the gig.
