The whole shebang is pretty awesome. Atmosphere, power, technicality, and melody.

First album was awful, saw him live as well and other then hearing Nebular Ravens Winter and Solarfall the show was very boring. Even the fact that it was snowing heavily on the way to the show didn't make the experience any better.

I would love to see Immortal because going by the songs on the latest album I think they would very likely play a lot of material from the first 4 albums as opposed to songs from the three before Northern...  Have they even announced any shows yet? Haven't heard anything about them since they released the album this time last year.

I also gorge on podcasts as a commuter/partial insomniac. A lot of good Trek ones out there and soccer (The Anfield Wrap is essential if you are a Red).

More generally I just finished In The Dark season 2 which is about a guy convicted of a mulitiple murder in Mississippi. It's excellent.

The usual recommendations after that: Serial season 1, S-Town, Bear Brook, Homecoming, the In Our Time series. All really good.

Yeah they split a while back. Real shame. The main guy has a new band (Black Sites) and posted on the old MI site. The first album is worth getting also.

Not many standouts for me but I would give Bloodbath a vote.
