I'll take all the tapes off ya

40 EUR and they are yours. Can post too.

List updated.

Anyone have any up to date contacts for dublin promoters these days? Smaller than DME. Looking to get over a UK black metal band, dont mind doing it by myself, but also don't live in Dublin these days so assistance on that front might be beneficial. Also broadly speaking, it would be very useful information to know.

Cheers!

O.D. Promotions brought over some UK bm bands in the past. You can find them on fb.

Can't comment on the first one as it sounds too modern for me but the second one almost definitely sounds like a classic French bm band from the 00's. Early-mid Nuit Noire first comes to mind - very similar but perhaps more upbeat, check out releases around Lutina. Super early Alcest around Le Secret would fit. Early Mortifera and Celestia. Perhaps even early Peste Noire around Folkfuck if you want to explore that.

Canada also had a similar trend going on - I think Akitsa used to play in the same style, maybe even now.

Eventually you may want to check out Ildjarn too if you haven't yet.

Some records for sale, local pickup only from Dublin 18 for the moment.

New Haemoth "Black Dust" is out. Strong as 20 years ago.

Great gig. I discovered them around the release of their first album and it was on a regular repeat for a while but mostly lost track of them since then. So it was great to see them live finally. Didn't know they had violin added and thought it was pretty cool. Got some Swans vibes from the performance too.

For the volume, I was at very front with my Loops in but it was fine for me, pretty much like any other gig.

Also, anyone has a tracklist by any chance? I'm looking for a track title they played in the middle - slow with a kind of a buildup.

Their last show at NCH 2 years ago was awesome. Great sound, good view from the balcony, seated. Perfect place really for them, they should do more of this stuff.

Great band, pretty much spotless discography as long as you are into this type of music.

His other project Darkspace is also pretty phenomenal.
Traveled to Italy back in 2007 just to see them. Was their 2nd gig ever back then.

Also there was an interview with him posted recently - his first video interview ever in 20 years of band activity, should be on youtube.

Imperial Demonic LP coming out soon.

Went to their gig last Friday at Fibbers without any expectations as I was craving for raw blastbeats and enjoyed them a lot. Dark Funeral influence is very obvious which might or might not be everyone's cup of tea but they delivered it 100%. Also first time at Fibbers in like 15 years and despite everyone saying it turned into shithole, I found it clean and well organized. Ticket at the door (doesn't exist anymore for Dublin gigs post covid), for a tenner for 3 bands (), small venue, only about half full which is even rarer these days, pretty much top quality headliner... Couldn't ask for more, full mid-late 00's experience. Also the majority of audience despite being quite young overall was very engaged with the performance which was great to see.

Been trying to generate some instrumental surf rock based on black metal but it mixed up the genres and generated me this instead which to my surprise is very decent:

Some proper version of Russian Circles? So random but would definitely see this live.

Also, friend did this french coldwave prompt...

Since you mentioned Stalaggh, Silencer fits here I suppose. Back in the middle of 00's it had sort of cult following in the underground scene after the album release and all the mystery around it. His side-project Diagnose: Lebensgefahr also sounded quite demented.

any stage times for this?
