Quote from: Pat Twisted Wrath on July 12, 2026, 12:33:06 AMWonderful attacking play from Mayo today. They will be massive underdogs against Kerry or Dublin (yes, even this Dublin team) but I will hold out hope.

My mother was born a daily after the last Mayo All-Ireland win in 1951... near 75 and never seen Mayo win Sam... hopefully in 2 weeks they put that right!

Not massive underdogs with that full forward line. What a time yo be alive

Quote from: astfgyl on July 11, 2026, 08:07:58 PMLouth fell away handy this evening and fair play to Mayo they can only beat what's in front of them but it wasn't much of a game

Had a bit of gusto in the first half but had nothing in the second nor were they allowed to.

Exactly. We didn't allow Louth to play.  Mayo shot off every avenue. It was men against boys last half hour.

:abbath: All the years watching them and its always "we don't have the forwards".
Well thats fucking gone. That full forward line is insane. Kobe, Darren and Ryan are all serious ballers.

Slow Horses is great. The night Manager is utter shit. Managed i think 4 episodes of the first season. That was enough for me.

Quote from: leatherface on July 11, 2026, 12:15:51 AMCouldn't give a single f... what he wrote, he is obviously a paid stooge. Is he hiding his face for any reason, be serious FFS. Count Binface , F off.

He's been running in by elections since 2017. Who do you think is paying him. And he's hiding his face as its a satirical character.

Quote from: leatherface on July 10, 2026, 06:44:59 PMFine, democracy is democracy but he /she /it / or..whatever is obviously just provocative for the sake of being . A stooge if there ever was one but whatever. Not angry just that an election should be serious,  society/ community depends on it.

In normal circumstances I would agree. But Farage created this farce by triggering the by election. And if Farage lost this it would probably end his career.

Its a he actually. He wrote on the thick of it, have i got news for you etc. Can see the quick wit alright in any interview.

Quote from: leatherface on July 10, 2026, 01:24:14 PMWhat a load of 💩, honestly, binface really?

In Binface we trust. His policy of tying nurses pay to MP's pay for 100 years is one to route for. That and nationalising Adele 😆

Quote from: Emphyrio on July 08, 2026, 04:23:07 PMForgive my ignorance...

Does there have to be a by-election? As a protest vote would labour and Tory voters vote for this Binface fella?

Even if Farage wins he'll be going from an MP to a counsellor, ya?

Embarrassment of a man anyway.

He's the MP for Clacton now and if he wins he's back as an MP once again for Clacton. So if the resignation goes ahead there has to be a by election.

And to your other point there actually could be a huge protest vote in Binface's favour.

That's feckin deadly. Love the vocals. Catchy ass riffs too.

What a turn of unintended consequences. As the establishment are not running candidates, currently if the by election goes ahead his only opponent is the mighty Count BinFace. He has pledged to cap 99 flakes at 99p.
Can you imagine if he actually bet the grifting fucker.

Link to BBC interview this morning.

Quote from: Maggot Colony on July 02, 2026, 12:37:48 PMVery late to the party with this one: Vice Principals from 2016 on HBO Max. Danny McBride and Walton Goggins play 2 vice principals who join forces to take down the new principal. Very funny and quite dark. McBride's character is pretty much Kenny Powers as a vice principal and Goggins is brilliant as usual.

Righteous Gemstones also worth checking out if you want to see them share screen time. Goggins is brilliant in it.

I've seen it. Great show. Goggins is a savage actor no matter the genre. He was excellent in The Shield and Justified.

Goggins was amazing in Justified. Stole every scene he was in.

Quote from: Eoin McLove on July 01, 2026, 12:19:30 PMYup. Looking forward to that. There's a Dracula ballet on over here that I've seen an ad for. Looks like it could be interesting.

Watching Donnie Darko. I saw it, I suppose it's 25 years ago at this stage, and back then I didn't think it was all that great. I think it was so hyped it couldn't stand a chance. I'm enjoying it this evening.

Cinema version or directors cut. Both good but directors cut is class.
