Definitely a big resurgence in popularity. They're doing big arenas in the UK as well on this tour, and they headlined Wacken last year

Got tickets for the Belfast gig, really looking forward to this

I bought a day ticket for the Saturday of this. It was a poor turnout but it was a great day, the bands gave it their all. I knew it was far too expensive but I paid the £70 anyway, thinking that Belfast never gets gigs like this and I wanted to support the event. The thought of none of that money going to the bands is infuriating.

Start with any of the early 80s stuff - Earthshaker/Black Tiger/Mean Streak/In Rock We Trust

One of the most underrated bands of the era in my opinion

Quote from: Pagan Saviour on January 20, 2024, 05:41:45 PMThink Ginger assaulted someone in the audience.

And from what I can remember Bach just had an attitude, thought he was too big for the limelight or whatever and they dumped whatever Irish band that were supporting them off the tour, have a feeling it was an Answer or Glyder type band.

The Sebastian Bach Belfast gig went off without a hitch. He stood outside signing stuff and taking photos for ages afterwards, it was a great time.

There was a fallout with Stormzone at one of the subsequent UK gigs (Glasgow maybe?) and that's when they were kicked off the tour.

Bach was interviewed and asked about it later and that's when he was implying he was too good to be playing somewhere like the Limelight.

Still scheduled for 10th June 2023, though there's not a hope of it going ahead in my opinion based on the latest updates on Ozzy.

Got a Gold Circle ticket this morning. €133.15 all in. Eye watering!

Saw him at the Diamond Rock Club in Ahoghill on Saturday night. Place was rammed, such a great gig.

Great to hear Holmes got proper support from people in Ahoghill.  I presume his last gig in Drogheda was catastrophically attended because the town is a bloody kip  :)

I was at that Drogheda gig actually, couldn't believe how small the crowd was

What's the story with those Platinum seats going for 350-400 squids? Ticketmaster says it reserves some of the best seats and then releases them at a price that reflects the market demand, like airline flights or hotel rooms.

To me, it looks like a legal form of ticket touting, and they get away with it because the ticket isn't technically being re-sold, it's being sold originally but for (in this case) 4 times the original price.

Whos idea is that and who gets all the profits? Is it just Ticketmaster or do the artists/venue get a slice?

Not sure whether the artists get a cut of the inflated price but that's exactly what it is. They're cutting out the middle man and scalping their own tickets. Absolutely shameful.

Very surprised by this. Thought the Ulster Hall would be more suited to them or even The Limelight. Will be there nonetheless!

Ticket rolled over since 2019. Haven't booked travel yet, waiting a few more weeks until it's confirmed that the UK restrictions are easing before booking anything. All seems up in the air still.

Do people actually enjoy Fozzy seriously? They seem like a real life spinal tap.

The crowd is mostly wrestling fans who aren't typical gig goers

Just in. Reshedulded to 1st March 2022.

Absolute horseshit.

Priest are still advertised as celebrating their 50th anniversary which happened in 2019
