Honestly, if you are the kind of person who uses a public toilet and doesn't flush afterwards, you are absolute scum.

Like logically the fact there was a period where the man gave weekly air time to Beherit's "Drawing down the moon" and Sentenced's "North from Here" on the national broadcaster is pretty nuts if you think about it.

Daydream Plus- Second last day of summer
Sunny sounding noodley/mathy instrumental stuff which somehow sounds like Braid style 90s emo and Japanese city pop at the same time. Nice Sunday morning music.
Shockingly- and I only found this out after hearing a few tunes- this band is actually three quarters of Tomb Mold
Absolutely no way you'd know.
Also-Xiu Xiu doing the Twin Peaks soundtrack

Seeing as I have the shirt on me this morning, this definitely needs to be included. Probably the heaviest album of the last decade or so for me,certainly the heaviest opening track I've heard on something in years.

Can't believe I misse the mention of "Jizzlobber" - agreed. It was initially the b side of the 12" of "Midlife Crisis" before the album came out and I remember a bunch of us in a mate's house listening to it for the first time after he got it in town, and it was an absolute "Holy Shit" moment. I don't know if younger people can appreciate how much of a shock to the system that was comng from that band at the time, particuarly off the back of "The Real Thing". "Fourth of July" was maybe less of a surprise but was also pretty mindblowing to hear from what seemed like a "Mainstream" band at the time. Probably no surprise both songs are my favourite by the respective bands.

ha, the daughter texted me yesterday going "I see Fear Factory are playing Dublin soon..", so if it's a Demanufacture set I might accompany her

July 11, 2026, 10:56:33 AMQuote from: blessed1 on July 09, 2026, 09:55:21 PMKill List is his best film imo. Could never get into anything he did after that. Down Terrace is good too.
Great film but I actually think his best by a mile is Sightseers. Would love to see him do more of that dark comedy.
not crazy about A Field..I prefer In the Earth. I've a very clear memory of that being the first film I saw in a cinema post lockdown, had the place pretty much to myself, and it was an interesting film to see in that environment again with a big screen/sound system rather than a shitty laptop.
Did anyone catch his newest one when they showed it in the IFI recently?Bulk? A low budget sci fi apparently
