It's not just the youngsters acting the bollox at the tills, people of all ages can be miserable cunts incapable of a hello, please or thanks. The workers at some Lidl stores I've been to don't even acknowledge their customers, they just chat away to each other on their headsets.

The mathematical skills of till operators has been declining rapidly since covid. I still pay cash, and the amount of people I see staring at the till and scratching their heads is actually worrying. People using a calculator to subtract 16 from 20. I'm not exaggerating.

Was in the folks gaf this morning and Euronews was on the TV.

Some euro wan presenter was having a conversation with a politician lad called Bernd Lange, but she kept addressing him as 'Mr. Langer', completely unaware of it's connotation. I wonder was it a genuine mistake, or did a fella from Cork give her the wrong name on purpose

Dunno if I've said this before.. but people behind you who start to unload their shopping onto the belt while you are still emptying your obviously large trolley. Why are people such thick cunts!?

I fucking hate that kind of carry on! They're probably the same people who take one step into a building and then come to an abrupt halt, completely oblivious that they're blocking traffic entering and leaving the doorway, while they fumble about with their phone/purse/shattered fragments of their former lives.

They way YouTubers play up to the algorithm is annoying. Clickbaitey titles, moronic facial expression thumbnails, absolute oversaturation of whatever's trending, offering extremely opposing views for a few desperate clicks.... zzzzzzz

I'm watching The Final Cut here for the first time ever.

 

Fits the album perfectly though. In the sense that it's a pointless knock off of The Wall.

....watching? What's this all about, is there a documentary about it or something?

I was obsessed with The Wall as a teen. Bought the Final Cut back then and just never really got into it.

I've been listening to it recently though, and it definitely has its moments. Gunner's Dream is amazing, really good songwriting. First and last songs are decent, as is Not Now John.

But yeah, it's a collection of songs that didn't make it onto The Wall, so it was never going to be as good.
