Luke has been active again with the Berzerker for about two years. Was talks of a new album being recorded but doesn't look like anything has even been started yet. They played the Damnation in 06 I think it was a few days before the Dublin show.

I shaved my head for the first time since I grew my hair in 2022 and immediately regretted it. I couldn't wait for it to grow back.
I only had it long on top when I grew it back and shaved at the sides. I am now in the process of growing it the same length all over and currently in that scruffy / fuzzy phase on the sides which is annoying.

For anyone interested Throne records in Spain are doing a vinyl box and reissuing each album individually for those looking for them as everything other than the two most recent albums is very hard to get.
LPs are suppose to be out during the summer so well before these Irish shows.

It will be 20 years ago this August since the last time Lord Word was here with them.
What do you mean like the bits in Abigor, Carrionshine etc.?
Quote from: Carnage on May 19, 2026, 03:18:36 PMThe bingy-boingy bass rendered them unlistenable for me, is that still in the mix?

This tour is currently going on in the US. I won't spoil it for people by saying which songs but they are playing 6 of the 8 tracks from None So Vile. It's the 6 best tracks. Matt is no Lord Worm but he's a great vocalist in his own right and he has always been great live anytime I have seen him with them.

I wouldn't be a big fan of Roots even though Attitude, Spit and Dictatorshit are great songs. I saw Soulfly playing it in full twice and it was really enjoyable. Come to think of it Roots Bloody Roots is the one song from the album that I can't stand in the same way that I hate Raining Blood, Walk and Enter Sandman.

They are never going to be able to record anything even close to the first four but the last two was a great return to form after a run of albums that ranged from mediocre to shite. I think the last album got overshadowed by the AI art controversy.
Still hoping someone gets them over here given it's been almost 20 years since they played in Ireland. Steve isn't going to be able to keep the drumming up for much longer he's 56. I can't see Glen continuing the band without him.

The Alan Partridge series he did for Sky Atlantic and the surrounding specials are by far the best thing he's ever done. Much better than the 90's Alan Partridge show. The special were he has one of those chats in front of a live audience about the book he had published is still one of the funniest things I have ever seen.
I watched some of the newer stuff which was also good and I have been meaning to go back to it.

Scars, Stench and the last 2 are all great.

I thought Surgical Steel was a snooze fest instantly forgettable and the most recent album was even worse. The only good thing about Carcass reforming was finally being able see them live.
One mentioned earlier in the thread Monotheist. I would even go as far as saying it's the best Frost album. I have been waiting years for a reissue.

Price is very decent alright and it's been years since I was in the Pint which was always a great venue in a great location.
Ok thanks.
Quote from: Barrytron on May 16, 2026, 09:12:51 AMNot as far as I know. Think it only works off due to a day off on the tour before the Cork date
Ok thanks.
