Loads to choose from with Type O but the walking bass line at 1:34 is a savage overlooked one

LIKM is their worst imo, just doesn't have that dirge and gloomy haze permeating it. Too upbeat and chirpy overall.

Those same programmed drum samples were well overused by that point. They worked great with the production and vibe on October Rust since Steele was on a Cocteau Twins buzz but it should have ended after that.

Have been testing out a more portable/pedal based set up lately also,

Joyo Chopper-Z Preamp > Zoom G2 Four Multi Fx > Harley Benton GPA 100 into a 2x12 with v30's

Getting a great death metal tone out of it though I'm finding I have to crank the GPA near max to be heard at rehearsals, think the signal going into the power amp is a bit low so must experiment with boosting it.

Black Metal / Death Metal I suppose.  We're at the siege on Sunday if anyone fancied hearing another couple of songs on top of these.  Cheers

Class stuff, you's have a cool sound developing there

That bit of synth layered in over the odd riff or two is a nice touch
