Solefald - The Linear Scaffold. This could have made it into my top five albums of all time.

Lee Morris' drumming on Paradise Lost's Draconian Times. Absolutely sublime.

Great call. Used to watch when I was a chap on the portable in my room. Laurence Olivier to listen to also.
If you're thirsty for history, I can recommend you 'Fall of Civilisations' which is available on you YouTube or as a podcast. Monumental in quality and scope.
I'll check it out, cheers.

I've been listening to Anathema's Pentecost III a lot lately, definitely the best thing they released.
I've been listening to The Blood Divine a bit too. It's a pity they didn't release more material.

We had a problem a few years ago at Halloween where a group of scumbags drove by the house every night for about a week and threw eggs at it. I caught them at it and followed them in my car. I rang my mate and he blocked the road on his motorbike. Scared the shit out of them and never had a problem after that.

Saleh gets the chop. I'm not surprised, and it's deserved, but how the fuck did Hackett outlast Saleh. The Roger's impact is finally becoming apparent!

What a performance by Villa last night. I thought they might have been overwhelmed by Bayern Munich but they stuck to their plan and kept their nerve. Duran's goal was top class. Emery has to be thinking about starting him ahead of Watkins.

Gorgoroth were class that night. I remember Gaahl being truly intense that night.
Pentagram, Antichrist and Under The Sign are all great albums in their own right.
I haven't listened to Twilight of the Idols or Ad Majorem in years, I must give them a listen.
