Thanks for the advice folks. I think I'll get her 3/4 Valencia. Sounds like it ticks all the boxes for a beginner and won't break the bank.

My daughter wants to start guitar lessons. She's 10 years old so I was thinking about getting her a 1/2 size acoustic. Would anyone have any recommendations?
I don't want to break the bank in case she decides to pack it in after a couple of lessons.
