Descendents had a decent amount, there was a black tour shirt, another blue shirt and maybe like two others.

There was a split 7" for sale, the signed version was €50 I think
2
Those 2019 shows had Kvelertak and Mutoid Man in support, which was an amazing lineup, love to see that again.
3
Looks like it is in, a part of or some way connected to "Nudes Craft & Cocktails"
4
It is also being billed as "The first four years" but looking at recent sets on setlist.fm it looks like they do a few tracks from the Rollins era (over two sets?).

However according to wikipedia, Black Flag is now just Greg:
Quotevocalist Mike Vallely left the band, along with drummer Charles Wiley and bassist Matt Baxter
So who we will see onstage is a mystery

I had not clocked this was the weekend of the Sabbath show, 100% makes sense, have decent little trek around the UK if someone was so inclined (I am not  ;D )
6
There's a few days between the two shows, which seems slightly odd to me
7
And Limerick on the 12th.

Have seen them a few times, always good live, they are playing ArcTanGent in full, which will be good to see.

I think at first I was well up for this, Black Sabbath and a few decent supports? Nice. But the way everything is phrased sounds like it will be a bit of a revolving door of people getting up with Sabbath and playing (singing?) tunes with them, which sounds tedious

Got a standing ticket, I have seen them a few times now, always put on a decent show, he even plays The Perfect Drug live now (not a lot but he does play it).

There will be no How To Destroy Angels in the set (sadly, would love to see them live) and the OST stuff, if it appears, will merely be interstitial music between songs.

I may have also picked up a Paris ticket, I can just work from that office so no need to take time off.

Raging Speedhorn return to Ireland (for the first time as headliners for a while I think) in March.

They have Kill The Lights with them, a band I have never heard of but apparently include members of Bullet For My Valentine and Throw The Fight  :-\ .

Anyway they play:
12 March, Voodoo, Belfast (Distortion Project)
13 March, The Grand Social, Dublin (DME/MCD)

I'll wander along have seen them a few times live, always fun.

Current lineup only has two people who recorded the first three albums (and only one who recorded Before The Sea Was Built so don't expect anything from that  ;D )

The Belfast gig is coming up on Saturday, anyone have a vague idea of stage times? It's in LimeLight 2 and there is a club night so curfew could be early? Pretty sure when I was up for Slomatics last year it was all done and dusted by 21:00...

Want to get the bus back to Dublin and it looks like it's 21:00, 21:10, 21:20 and then a jump to 23:00

A Wednesday night too, don't think we need to worry about dynamic pricing forcing the price up anyway

Gigs and Festivals / Better Lovers UK Tour
August 15, 2024, 09:17:01 AM
The "supergroup" featuring Greg from DEP and the guys from ETID are playing early next year in the UK, which I thought might interest some:

January 2025
17th Bristol, Marble Factory
18th London, Electric Brixton
19th Manchester, Academy 2
20th Glasgow, Slay
22nd Newcastle, The Grove
23rd Leeds, Project House
24th Birmingham, O2 Institute 2

The London show is a Saturday so will probably pop over to that and stay with friends.

I guess they are asking silly money but DEP and ETID did always play here and I am sure there would be enough interest for a gig or two (I mean Greg did a solo show here this year)

It's going to be a 750 seater theatre apparently so I don't think it is going back to the old setup (unless the seats can be removed like the Olympia or Brixton).

Went to so many shows there from the likes of Kila, Foo Fighters and Green Day to Slayer, QOTSA and Anthrax (though only to see Stampin' Ground  ::) ).

I always preferred Vicar Street and that is the same capacity as the Ambassador was (and the Olympia). There is a second 2,000 capacity venue planned beside Vicar St (and a smaller 250 cap space) so not sure there is a call for it tor return in the form it used to be.
