I've three weeks booked off in August, so looking forward to it. Middle of nowhere Donegal for two and a week to recover.

Have a blast dude!
Spent many's a good few days on Downings beach in the camper. Lovely little peninsula that...

Downings is lovely, spent sometime at Falcarragh as well, these days we head to Portnoo, peaceful beautiful scenery and the kids love the beaches.

That's a great record - probably too far ahead of its time and suffered the cruel death of being influential from a distance of decades.

"Shutout" is my favourite track on that album. It sounds like a Joy Division mixed with "Lodger"-era Bowie.

Totally, absolute beaut of an album. Pretty sure Bowie covered one of the songs.

While I respect those who receive their diagnosis and don't throw it into every conversation, my 'peeve' is that a relative whom has recently been diagnosed uses it as an excuse to get out of doing shit for the family, prior to which, while it may have been a 'chore' they moaned and reluctantly got on with it. Now it's, I have to think about me, and take this time to heal.

Warning - Rituals of Shame (loving it, beautiful, sorrowful and suffocating)

In Vespro – Where Silence Used to Sleep (gave this a blast after reading a review, old school Katatonia and Paradise Lost worship well executed!)
