I'd agree with that, my two have been exposed to some interesting music while coming up.

They've gotten into Deftones, Slipknot, Korn and SOAD, with Deftones being the only one I'd listen to. But then Killing Joke, Iron Maiden, Soundgarden has grabbed their attention as well. My son has recently been borrowing more and more Death which is fantastic.

I say all that but my daughter can easily go from the madness of Kpop, Soad to The Beatles in a heart beat.

I've given it a couple of spins and it's much better than I expected. Some tasty leads and overall much punchier imo than that of recent albums.

Headless Cross for me, Tyr I've not given it as much attention as it deserves? Must throw it on.

Nothing downside about Rocky Horror (and I fucking hate musicals)!

Sure watch Congo, Legend, Loaded Weapon & Clue to balance it out for Tim Curry stealing the show!

I did love Rocky Horror but when it's a fanatical fan who watched it constantly it became a chore, it'll be on tonight along with a few others.

Now that's sad, the Mrs is a big fan.

Another band that I'd long forgotten is LMS, I still have the Desperately Seeking Satan album/ep, Larne Main Street I believe.

Must dig it out, seen em' live a few times always good craic.

Great to see Scald given a mention, such a quality band. Amazing artwork.

AoP are another band whom I continue to enjoy. Very much missed.

From the Bogs..., I need to investigate more, I've somewhat neglected these guys bar hearing a few tracks here and there.

He was a big country fan primarily outlaw country. There's a 'working mans' club he went to which put on country music shows and he'd always come back with cassettes they'd swap, which had a big influence on me. Local radio stations back then pumping out occasionally good country but a vast majority of it was shit TBF.
