Eternal Champion - Ravening Iron

Class night. The sound was massive for all 3 bands but vocals were a bit low for Kirk and I couldn't hear a word of his mumbles between songs. Still deadly though.
Legions of Doom were cool and seemed to be knocking real enjoyment out of it.
Silverburn not for me, too 'core. Cool riff in the second last song they played but altogether too angular and jaunty.
Mighty busy for a Thursday night!

Sound ochoill. Stick my name on a large. Will you be at Crowbar?

Coltaine were the better of the 2 in Galway too. Mixed crowd in Roisins, not sure of numbers but not overly busy. Awful set up re the bar and jacks

Anyone recommend some decent VPN options? Something straight forward for getting BBC iPlayer on the Fire stick

Anyone know stage times for Galway? Can't find an event page with any details. Who's promoting , just Roisin Dubh?

Warp Chamber and Benothing split. Gnarly stuff but awful short at just one track each.
Also checked out the new track from Worm. Sounds massive of course. Still prefer the Foreverglade sound though

I grew the beard so I wouldn't have to be shaving every day so no chance I'll take on wet shaving my head instead. Have a couple of scars too that mightn't be great unleashed on an unsuspecting public. Clippers once a week is the job

General Discussion / Clippers recommendations
November 23, 2025, 01:36:01 PM
Looking for decent clippers that don't snag. Have gone through a few Phillips and the Wahl etc in recent years and my latest is the Wahl Pro Elite which is supposed to have a much better motor and better able for it as it's corded but it's a piece of shit that snags and pulls. So looking for recommendations for cordless unit with an adjustable taper lever as I don't use any attachments to kept it tight to the dome. Barbershop quality without getting into serious cash. Surely should be doable for less than €200? Thanks in advance for any help
