Sign of the Cross is a great tune

Until it Sleeps is a good song,but i  disagree that it's their last great song. A couple of songs off Death Magnetic are fairly good too.

Crown Of Barbed Wire and Chasing Light on 72 seasons are 2 brilliant tracks.Would be far better live than anything else off that album.Reload has some underrated tracks.Devils Dance,Fixxxer,Where The Wild Things Are would all be great live.Load has tracks better than Until It Sleeps.Bleeding Me and The Outlaw Torn are quality.

I also like Hero of the day and Mama Said. Still i wouldn't be mad keen on going to a Metallica gig that was mainly devoted to both of those albums

On reflection and after weighing it all up I think Friday was the better gig. Way more energy from the band and crowd plus a good bit longer set at least 15 mins extra. Was in thr luas last night and heard a few guys saying the same but overall great weekend of metal.

I am glad to hear that as i had to miss night 2.   As someone else said it could well be the last time they play here given the average length of time between their gigs in Ireland. Lars said on Friday they need to come here more often,but i'm sure he said the same thing after Slane.

Aside from missing Pantera, i was happy with the gig. The Metallica family spiel is cringe, and the pointless doodle i could have done with out, but it was a thoroughly enjoyable gig overall.

When Ginger Wildheartnsaid he was forgoing treatment and just heading out and touring, I thought he was a bit mad, not so much anymore

The problem is when they say that, there is nearly always cancer cells left that they miss on scans. It's awful cruel. All the talk about how survival rates have improved now due to medical advances, yet for certain cancers that is clearly not true. Anyway RIP to the poor man

At least they are mixing it up a bit anyway.Shortest Straw was in the set last week.Hopefully they ease off on the 72 seasons tracks and keep it to 1 per set.

Yes . It's not the worst setlists in fairness. I do  like one of the Death Magnetic tracks they play- i know that is frowned upon
