That's a shame, I was looking forward to getting to see Priest. Hope they'll still be playing support for the rescheduled gig. If not, I wouldn't have much interest in going.

That seems to be the way most folks look at it, though personally I prefer the shorter days. The summer solstice is when I celebrate things beginning to move in my direction again!

Those Six Feet Under cover albums are dreadful alright.
Megadeth had a habit of releasing some pretty terrible covers over the years, most recent offender being Cold Sweat.

He's lucky that he wasn't shot dead by the police, if he ran at them with a knife. They don't need much of an excuse to open fire over there.

Always had a soft spot for Blind Guardian. I do not particularly like power metal, and they are unlike anything else I listen to, yet I love giving them a blast every now and then.
Nightfall in Middle Earth is a classic, and I like the 2 newest albums At the Edge of Time and Beyond the Red Mirror. Resisting the urge to sing along like a tool while listening to some of their songs can be quite difficult.

Clandestine Blaze - City of Slaughter
Been loving this album, I really need to get more of their music. On a Horna buzz lately too, no shortage of good black metal from Finland

Or get stuck into the Game of Thrones series. I'm reluctant to even call it a series as I doubt it'll ever actually be finished. In a way I'm very grateful for the show.
It's crazy how long Martin is taking with the latest book. I wonder if what he has seen from the TV show post Dance with Dragons material has caused him to change things up in the books somehow. It would help explain the long wait.

The new track sounds savage, dying to hear the full thing now. I'm sure it will be worth the wait.

Un - "Sentiment".
Really savage stuff. Saw it shared in an fb doom group and the artwork drew me in. Death doom with a sort of melodic touch to it. Normally that description would put me off but there isn't a hint of cheese in here, just total fucking misery and wretchedly heavy riffs. Musicianship is savage but not over the top, production is excellent - anxiously thick when heavy, warm and bare when light. Absolutely recommended for any doom fans.
Checked it out there, my kind of stuff for sure. Can never have too much good doom to listen to.

I got into them when Theogonia came out and it's still a regular play for me.

There's a band name I haven't seen for a long time.
Used to listen to JI on and off years ago, I could never get fully into it. Knew a few guys who swore by it though, so he must have been doing something right.

Oh fuck that looks ace! I spent ages playing that on ps1, great fun! Definite purchase for me anyway.
I've only really gotten back into gaming in the last month or so, lack of time to get stuck in more than anything else kept me away. I'm not much of a fan of online gaming. I tend to favour games with an emphasis on solid, engaging stories and engrossing worlds. Current working through AC Origins and loving it. I've only played the Ezio trilogy and Black Flag so I luckily avoided the rot that was present in the other series entries. Can't wait to get stuck into Odyssey and RDR2
I am partial to the odd multiplayer game that comes around, but for the most part I prefer story driven interesting single player games. Sounds like you would love the Witcher 3, if you haven't played it already. It was the best single player experience I've had in recent times.
Origins was a quality entry in the AC series alright, they did a great job recreating ancient Egypt and bringing it to life. Always a setting I have been interested in.

I never listened to any of their gothic period material. Not because I dislike that music, I just never got round to checking any of it out. There always seemed to be something more interesting to listen to.
I do love the early albums, Thy Mighty Contract in particular, and some of the later ones are very good.
