Genuine question for ye heads with hearing aids - would ye still use headphones for music? Like pop out the aid and insert earphones? Only at home or still use them on the go?

Depending on the brand/model you can stream audio from your device to the hearing aids, however I find the streamed audio for my current aids is quite tinny - Android Bluetooth.

I use overhead earphones (Sony WH-1000xm3s) with the aids in and fine tune the hearing aids with the app if too loud/tinny.

For longer listening sessions or for flights I just take out the hearing aids and adjust the mids/highs on the EQ - it's more comfortable.

Trying to get used to wearing hearing aids, a necessary evil!

From my own experience if they're still uncomfortable after a while it might be worth trying different sizes domes/inserts. The first ones I was issued were way too big.

Cheers mooncat, once is a Jackson V which is a bit more straightforwards but the other one is a banged up 90s Silver Series (I think) BC Rich that needs a lot of work so would be probably sell as a project for someone. I might have to join some collectors groups.

Out of curiosity, what model is the BC Rich?
