I want to replace my copies of Rust in Peace and Countdown to Extinction but all that's available is the cunting 2004 versions where Mustaine decided to butcher the original mixes.

Plus 1 on that - the snare sound on the new Countdown melts my head.

Was a very enjoyable gig - Hetfield really holds it all together - monster guitar player. Very pleasantly surprised by Blackened and Fade to Black.

Gojira were pure class. Knocked Loose gave it socks but the sound wasn't great.

Genuine question for ye heads with hearing aids - would ye still use headphones for music? Like pop out the aid and insert earphones? Only at home or still use them on the go?

Depending on the brand/model you can stream audio from your device to the hearing aids, however I find the streamed audio for my current aids is quite tinny - Android Bluetooth.

I use overhead earphones (Sony WH-1000xm3s) with the aids in and fine tune the hearing aids with the app if too loud/tinny.

For longer listening sessions or for flights I just take out the hearing aids and adjust the mids/highs on the EQ - it's more comfortable.

Trying to get used to wearing hearing aids, a necessary evil!

From my own experience if they're still uncomfortable after a while it might be worth trying different sizes domes/inserts. The first ones I was issued were way too big.
