I used to work with a legend of a lad who was great for conspiracy theories. One was about Bear Gryls guiding the pope and some famous people to an underground city in the Antarctic which has been covered up. He had a big thing about how no-one has gone back the moon in so long because Aliens control it and have barred us from going back. He also claimed to have special blood that meant he couldn't be cloned. No explanation as to who or what wanted to clone him. Cattle mutilation is a result of aliens wearing human suits but since they cant do the lips right they take the lips off of cow mutilations. What else... Theres two types of UFOs, the orange triangular ones are the bad ones apparently. cant remember what the other type was but they were sound according to him. I moved to a different section in work about a year ago so I haven't heard any others from him.

Realistically though I think that 99.99% of these things are absolute bullshit made up by people who have even less of a clue about whats going on than the average person. But hey what the fuck do I know.

Personally I enjoy collecting and building pedals too much to ever go fully down the modelling route. And i also prefer the workflow of having each pedal to do one thing and i feel bogged down with too many options in one piece of gear. But if you have the cash modern modelling gear is as good as the real thing and much easier to transport so long as you go down the kemper style route.

Found it to be a so-so rip off of A Quiet Place. Watchable but you're much better off just watching A Quiet Place.

Those things are great for time based and modulation effects but always more hassle than they're worth for distortion.

Got this a couple of days ago by Ross Nagle in AllStar down in limerick.

As a whole it sounds really good. My only complaint is that I despise EZDrummer. In particular the kick always sounds weak and plastic, and the snare sounds like it's played by a shitty drummer who keeps hitting it too close to the rim (that's a criticism of the drum software, not the song itself or drum machines in general). The handy thing about MIDI drums is you can always run them through different software at a later point and have a completely different sound. The mix sounds great though!

Thatnks. Im pretty happy with how it turned out. Weve got a drummer since so Ill have the joys of real drum recording to deal with next time. I have a shiity tbone drum mic kit that ill be playong around with in the next recording session.
