Theres no way this will sell out, the 2020 one had plenty of tickets.
How much are they??
Most Maiden fans are dead now anyway.
60 quid including the ticket master rape tax.
It won't sell out for a while anyway so you're safe enough.

That's a proper price, indoor gig would probably be 80 to 100
Yeah and a couple of good support bands and it's not bad at all.. last time they were to have Alterbridge, Airborne and a forth band whose name I can't remember.
Nobody mentioned this time but look at the download bands playing on the Saturday and you'll have a clue.

Underwhelmed!! Was hoping for megadeth as playing same day at download 😆😆
Naw, I'm pleased. Airborne much better and entertaining.

Looks like more time in wetherspoons!!
Or Nandos.
For some reason I assumed that my SSE Arena ticket was valid, as this was just the same gig rescheduled. I'm glad I found out now rather than at the door...
Your sse arena ticket from 2018 that took place?
Shinedown & Tempt have been added to the bill. Seriously underwhelmed.
Is shine down not the prick who gets the crowd to separate down the middle so he can run up and down?
And nobody twatted him?

Yep.
Just below Shine down unfortunately. Was hoping to skip shine down entirely.

Naw the one for June 2020 or something. Might have also been Belsonic.
Apparently it automatically refunded.
New extra European dates as well as North American dates. Seems they're combining the legacy of the beast show with the new album for the tour.
QuoteIron Maiden manager Rod Smallwood says that the existing Legacy of the Beast Tour stage production will be tweaked to include a spectacular new 'Senjutsu' world, and there will be songs from the album added to the setlist.

Unless they're also adding "To Tame A Land" and "Alexander the Great" into the set list, Ill be giving this a miss.
Agreed, struggling to drum up any interest in this. who the fuck needs to hear the trooper and 2 mins to midnight for the 8 thousand time

Now you know there's more chance of reaching the moon by trampoline than them songs being played.
Although to be fair, to tame a land ain't great

Aye, short of a miracle, there's no chance i'll be at this.

I know, it'd be a hard chore going to see an amazing show by one of the biggest metal bands on the planet for around £60, after hardly seeing any gigs in 2 years. If nothing else for a proper all day session :abbath:
New album 4 months later continues to engage me. Some really good stuff here. Fair play to them. A 3/5 album this far into a career is an achievement.

Have seen people voice their dislike for To Tame a Land before. Only a casual Maiden fan but I think it's a class song.
Yeah I like it too. Wouldn't care to see it live though. Anyway what your man is asking for above were rarely if ever played when those albums were toured so unlikely to be played now.
As far as I know Alexander the Great has never been played live.
I'd prefer a full Legacy of the Beast style tour, but as long as it's not a full on Senjutsu tour, I don't care that much. Three songs from that album would be ideal, but I'm betting it will be more.
I'm guessing 3 as well. Writing on the wall, the title track and Hell on Earth which seems to be the most popular song on the album. I'll be happy with them in the legacy setlist.
Stratego surely rather than title track?
Yeah I think I meant that one. That's the track that starts with "teach me the art of war...how do you know a madman's mind etc "? Still haven't gotten myself completely familiar with the album, 80 minutes a long time to go through. Hell, I'm liking the Amazon prime recommendation's of 90 minute films or shorter.
Yeah that's the one, I like the title track too, as it sets the mood well.
Bruce has said: (https://ultimateclassicrock.com/iron-maiden-smaller-venue-tour/)
QuoteHe went on to reassure ticketholders that Maiden's upcoming Legacy of the Beast shows would be loaded with classic tracks, just like the previous shows.
"[P]eople have all paid their money to see [...] spitfires and flamethrowers and Icarus and everything that goes with," he said. "So they're going to get all that. But the first three tracks are probably going to be the first three tracks on the album [...] [E]verybody should know the first three tracks." He added: "And we'll have a stage set to go with it. Once you've done that, you're back to the kind of Legacy world at that point. But I think 'The Writing on the Wall' is going to be a great ... crowd singalong song. You can imagine that. It'll be fantastic."
That was in an interview where he said/hinted that there might be a Senjutsu tour of "smaller" venues playing that album in full. Smallest venues I have seen them play is Brixton Academy and Hammersmith Apollo in 2007 and 2005 respectively but not sure if Senjutsu (even in that kind of setting) is tempting ...
Fuck it I'll go regardless. It does make a change a band doing their new album in full as opposed to soooo many playing an album from 20 or 30 years ago. I enjoyed the AMOLAD show from 2006.
An Ulster hall show bit much to hope for after the ormeau park show...?
No;nobody wants to see a classic band play a new album in full!,i don't care how good the album is.
Sigh, I'll just go and play my Atari 2600 and watch some of my VHS tapes...
I would definitely be interested in an indoors show with them playing the new album in full, of the 10ish or so Maiden shows I've been to I'd say the AMOLAD tour in '06 was one of if not my favourite.
I just got tickets for the opening night in Zagreb as well as this one in Belfast so am looking forward to not knowing the setlist beforehand. I've only recently had time to give the new album a proper listening and to me Hell on Earth seems to be the standout track. I'd like to see Stratego in the setlist too, Writing on the Wall is fine but probably a bit ploddy-along live I think I'd rather hear something else from the album.
Anyone got their tickets through the post yet?
Is it not all etickets these days? Log into your ticket master account and they should be there.

Nah, paid a few quid extra to get an actual ticket sent out, old stool style. 😆😆
Kinda like using a porn mag to wank with, it's nice and retro dispite it being easier using the internet.
Not long to this now..
The set list here if anyone is interested:

Avoiding it...but is there more than 1 from the new album and is Hell on Earth one of them?
That's all I need to know
Yep, more than one from the new album. Hell on Earth not one of them.
Anybody know of anywhere handy near the venue to park a van for the night?
Times are up.
Maiden on at 850. Curfew at 11
Hopefully weather will hold out tomorrow. Seems it will be overcast
Writing On The Wall is a banger. Looking forward to hearing it later.
Anyone got a spare ticket for this?
My God, Shine down are shite
Well that was pretty good.
It certainly was. Felt the opener song wasn't a good opener despite being the album title track, the second song definitely is an opener. WOTW I felt a little too slow to be that early in the set but moving Fear of the Dark forward a bit really shook things a little bit. And a surprise second encore nearly got us out.
Really enjoyed the gig. Bruce was in fine voice and I thought the setlist was great. Brought my son with me, he loved it. Both hoarse today, up the Irons.
Were there any hoodies available? If there were, how much were they asking for them?

Heh, it is a brilliant idea actually, but I could have went away with something like that when she was 6, but not any more :-)
How much were drinks inside in Ormeau Park as a matter of interest? And what was available? Gonna be there on Friday for Liam Gallagher (I know, I know!).
Wasn't buying alcohol but a sausage supper with a bottle of Fanta cost me 11 quid

£6 for Tennents or magners, £3.50 for a 500ml bottle of coke I think. We had a few hip flasks with us.
But seriously, who actually enjoys Tennents?
