Hey lads, just started up an independent label. Mainly going to be black/death stuff. I just put out an international tape for Scottish black metal band Sluagh. If the label or the tape interests you check out the site below. Need a few preorder to get the ball rolling so any support is appreciated.

Fair play, just ordered a tape
Along with the zine hopefully this grows well for you
I had a quick listen to them earlier and it sounds good. I'll grab a tape when I get home from out foreign.
I know /used to know a couple of lads in that band. Andrew is in a few outfits but I'd recommend Belliciste (spelling) if you also like the Finnish BM style. Barshasketh is his more well known band. This sluagh stuff sounds good. Tape ordered and support to a new Irish BM enterprise!

Cheers, not looking to make a living out of it, just enjoy doing it, new zine issue up soon too, had a few issues printing it. Thanks for the support.

Spot on, the 3 of them are in a good few acts, Barshasketh I knew of but only realised the connection afterwards. Most worth checking out, thanks for the support.

Cheers lad.
Sounds great, just ordered a tape.
Sluagh have a really good pedigree, Of Spire and Throne, Barshasketh and Uir are all class bands. Used to hoover up the decent Scottish bands when North of the Wall was still running, sadly missed. Tape bought!
North of the Wall and Caledonian Darkness (despite the issues) were excellent fests and Glasgow was a great city to hang out in for a drunken weekend. Shame they are done.
Sluagh tape arrived today, great job on the quality.
Looking forward to blasting it later tonight
Sluagh tape ordered. It's great to see the Gealach lads really grabbing the bull by the horns with the label, the band and the zine. Onwards and upwards, chaps.

Glad to hear, hope you enjoy it. Sorting new releases at the moment. Thanks again for the order.

Sluagh tape ordered.
Will get that out to you Monday morning. Thanks for the support.
Already got the Gealach tape. Must throw in an order for the Slaugh one. Cool little label. Keep the releases coming.
Sluagh tape playing now. Sounds good to me. Arguably a little one dimensional in approach, certainly on terms of tempo, but there are nice little details coming through. I'm on track three (I think) and the layer of keyboards add a lot. I think they have used them really well.
Just picked up the latest cassette release from the label up on bandcamp

There's two new tapes.
This one also released yesterday...

Everdead Wood sounds cool so far. Cunt of a name though.
I must say I'm really enjoying the Bodydrinkers demo on the bandcamp. I never got around to checking it out til now and it's a great sounding dynamic style. Lots of interesting passages, variety but not in a cheap way. Great vocals, riffs, drums. Hard to pin down but catchy all the same. Great gear. If anyone has a spare tape they want to sell me drop me a message.
And the Everdead Wood stuff is interesting. Like something from those lesser heralded mid/late 90s
Norwegian experimental BM bands.
Good going Cork.
Agreed about Bodydrinkers. I ordered the two new tapes also.
Bodydrinkers needs a few listens to properly sink in alright.
Some deadly riffs, solid drums and varied vocals.
It's not obvious at first but there's a fair bit going on when you listen closer.

Yeah they didn't click with me at all at the last gig but the sampler CD kicked into gear afterwards.

Just to let you know, I gave a handful of tapes to the band for gigs that aren't listed on the shop. I haven't gotten a chance to give them to them yet but if you want to contact the band about grabbing one you should be able to get one.
Hopefully there are a few left on Thursday when I get paid. I have been living in a state of vinyl induced poverty the last few weeks.

Few Everdead Wood tapes left, Cureswielder ones are gone but I'll be doing a second press soon. Have a hectic weekend so probably be next week. Initial 2 are en route to me now anyways.
Any chance of a reissue of the first Gealach demo? I know It's on the back of The Longest Night, but would be nice all the same.
Would be great to pick up the Gealach demo if it gets a second run

Possible in the coming months, we have two gigs coming up, one in the air. If it's confirmed to go ahead thinking about repressing the demo and TLN for gigs. Don't see why not.
Listening to Exire (and sent off for a tape, ov korpse). It is really nice stuff.
Just picked up the Exire tape there, really well composed music. Looking forward to hearing it on analog.
Another great find thanks to this label.
I think someone needs to interview someone from Fomorian Hate and get to the bottom of this intriguing little band of Corkonian misfits. It's great to see so much activity from that city which hasn't given us much BM in a while. I'd be curious as to how this scene started, whether it was a conscious decision by a few heads or an organic process that was gradually bubbling over time.
Sweet man I'll grab a tape.
The Exire tape arrived today. Looking forward to sitting down with it on the stereo. Cup of tea in hand? Maybe baby.
Yep, I've actually been meaning to do an interview for months,I really should pull the finger out.
Definitely one of the more exciting and energising things to emerge from the isle of late, fair play to the folks involved. I keep missing things though because they sell out so fast..surely another run of Gealach tapes would be a good idea?

I can tell you more Gealach tapes are on the cards but we are beginning the work on a full-length at the moment, without the distraction of gigs and all that.
This is deadly, fair play. Might snag a zine and that Curseweilder tape later.
Great news on the full length. That will be a mandatory purchase for me.
New pre-order for some Irish death metal. Fraught's 'Splitting Tongues' tape available on the new store site, shipping before release in a month or so time.
http://store.fomorianhaterecords.com/
Also, the new zine is available.
Fraught tapes arrived, posting week before it's release in March. Still plenty of left. Got some more music in the works for the year, weirder end of extreme metal.
Grab a Fraught tape here:

Looking forward to this coming out. Fomorian Hate is one of the best things to happen to Irish metal in the last few years.

Cheers, means a lot. Don't expect huge returns, it's very much a bedroom label hobby. Have a bit of a vision for future releases. Can only fufill them with the same lads on the books so cheers for the support.
This popped up on youtube. Sounds great.

Interesting to see this and Sermon of Flames get released around the same time. Ireland is being represented in a warped, harsh and innovative way with both projects.
Looking forward to the Gealach album, by the way.
That's class. Not mad into the Sermons of Flames thing.
Fuckin great demo.
Sound lads, might do a tape soon.
Had this on again there. Didn't realise it was yourself that was behind it. Did you drum on it as well? Fair play anyway. Savage stuff.

Cheers, glad you like it. May put a tape out at this rate. In talks for a vinyl but might hold off for a longer release.
I had those drums mapped out and played some basics on some pads but programmed all the frills. Had a fella lined up in the states to record them but he let me down. Next release has real drums though.
Genuinely wouldn't have known it wasn't real drums. Look forward to hearing more anyway.
