Fair warning then, from memory there is at least one random photo appearance of them in Squaring the Circle

Watched the Dio documentary last night, it was alright. He was very hit & miss in terms of his musical output, from what I've heard over the years.

We (Strangers With Guns) filmed a half baked documentary/tour diary yoke

Play the Academy July 13th

I saw "Mutiny In Heaven" the Birthday Party one with some friends last night. I enjoyed it for the most part but felt it ended at a point where it could have continued into a bit more detail about what happened in subsequent years after the break up for the other (ie not Nick) members, particularly Tracey Pew.

Still some great live footage, and a strong reminder that man, that band were fucking incredible - brutal, scary, absolutely hellbent on realising their own vision. Really wish I'd seen them live.

Documentary on Finnish black metal

I'm sure it's been discussed in this thread already, but finally got around to watching Moonage Daydream and loved it. It was a nice departure from the usual talking heads being interviewed interspersed with footage style of documentary. Genuinely felt like a piece of work befitting of the man himself. Absolute genius.

Yeah, Wendy Dio did keep it a bit vanilla, but there's some fantastic stuff there nonetheless.

That Nothing But A Good Time hair metal one on Paramount Plus is worth a watch

I haven't heard of that, I must have a gander.

I watched "Welcome To The Darkness" the other night - it was enjoyable enough.

Worth it alone for Justin Hawkin's best man speech at his brother's wedding.

We Are Twisted Fucking Sister! is a great watch, even if you aren't a big fan.

It's about their early club days, leading up to when they were just about to break big.

Also, there is a great documentary about Riot called 'Fight Or Fall' on youtube.

I still like the vast majority of his stuff you won't be surprised to hear... Even a few songs from the Tracy G albums have grown on me the last few years. I still maintain that he was appalling on the classic stuff live though. Not quite as awful having to hear that noncey girl haired twat Karl Logan live mind you, but nobody is that awful.

This documentary about Whitesnake making "Slip of the Tongue" is something. 20 minutes of Lord Coverdale providing a voiceover that's like a heavy metal Terry Wogan commentating on Eurovision. I had to double check it wasn't actually a Matt Berry skit. The most entertaining 20 minutes you'll see today I reckon. Roaring laughing.

hoohoo, nice one! I'll be watching that with a smoke tonight

The making of is more entertaining than the album.
