Old bump, I'm still at this, but mostly posting on Instagram and sometimes twitter about new builds and runs.

I have some plans for updated Organics, Richter, and two new builds this year but they won't start becoming available until May-ish at the current rate.  Until then, I have the last couple of previous runs available on my site, with a couple of quid knocked off to clear them: quillfx.com

I won't have my own demo of the Richter up for another week or two unfortunately, I keep getting delayed in it.  But it's the main OD all over the recent Karpackonaut album for a good example on guitar, and a bass demo from the first one ever made is up here: https://youtu.be/o2RPgckM9tk

Little bump again now that I can't flog anything on twitter 

I have one of a test build of a new Fuzz left, the Silicon Impersonator - based on my Sardonic Perpetrator, which is in turn a Harmonic Percolator style build.  This one uses all common Silicon components instead of the Ge parts typically found in the Sard Perp, but emulates one of the main sound settings well and has a bit more gain on tap.  Since it's a test before the main run I'm letting it off for €60, cheaper than the future builds, which will have a different look but will sound identical.

Cheers!  It is very fun.  We put it through it's paces in the jamspace soon after this demo too and you can get some supreme sound bed style stuff going with it.  I actually sold the demo build to a lad yesterday because I was skint and already regret it at least I can build myself another I suppose.

ORGANICS: Transparent low-medium gain overdrive/ boost designed for Bass (but also great for guitar). DENJI: Transistor based Darlington one knob fuzz with simplified one knob HM2-style EQ. Standard fuzz is dark and full gain, as EQ is increased it goes through a range of sharp, gritty sounds, up to a full chainsaw fuzz with both pots dimed. Simple and effective.

Little update: I have a couple of the Amnesian, Organics, and DENJI all in stock at the minute on the site, quillfx.com.  Full details for each over there too, including demos etc.



AMNESIAN: Clean preamp with high headroom, optional clipping/saturation, and a Beta Lead -style EQ section.  Designed as a pedal platform for guitar and bass.  A powerful 3-band EQ section offers excellent tone control. Works great bypassing your amp's pre (into your Return jack) or straight in the front for some extra punch.

Also, I am doing another short run of Cruel Bloom delays at the end of Feb / start of March.  If you're interested in one, let me know here in the thread or DM and I'll give you a shout as they are built.



CRUEL BLOOM: Dual Modulated Delay, PT2399 chips. Separate volume, time, and feedback controls for each side. Options to run the delay in series, parallel, or feedback mode. Trails on/off by front mount switch, EQ control for repeats, limiter to control oscillations. Modulation section to add a "tape warble" style effect, with depth and speed controls to allow subtle or severe warping, and switch to apply to either delay. TRS input for an expression pedal option to control the time on the left delay. "Bloom" control momentarily floods the feedback on one delay for infinite repeats or short bursts of delay.  Demo here with full run through of controls:
