Whilst there's some good stuff on that list, with the level of bands we have on this small island playing up and down the country in places the size of your living room virtually every weekend, that's a bit of a disappointing first announcement. Could be a mere taster, but I doubt it. Don't want to be a downer or nothing, just looking at it whilst up against the venue and the way  it's been advertising itself thus far.

The auld poster needs a bit of blending, and all.

Would I be wrong in saying that all those bands would be siege level bands?? A show that is free after all

I don't think it would be unfair to suggest you're not far off the mark. I wonder how many of them will be playing the Siege a couple of weeks earlier?

This needs a Tribulation level band I think to draw from further afield. What about Mourning Beloveth

How the fuck are all those bands going to
Play over one day? Ie there's more to be added to that.

I think it needs more than a decent headline act to save it.  Probably a few barrels of holy water and an XL set of rosary beads.

ya i wouldnt pay just to see those bands tbh

I hope he's rich. Because he's going to lose a lot of money.

That place holds something like 2500 people?,that line up wouldnt pull 200,hes better off pulling the plug asap.

A load of cobblers.

Clang? Should be called KRANG

Siege? Is that some kind of festival? For metal? In Ireland???

Any of those bands,  with no disrespect meant,  would do well to get 150 people in to On the Rox on a Saturday night.  This looks like a bring your granny job. There'll be plenty of elbow room in the venue at least. They'll be able to wheel their rellies, sorry fans,  around without it turning into bumper cars.  TG4 should televise it for the craic.

Can protestants go to this or is it just for indigenous Irish?
