DYING VICTIMS PRODUCTIONS is proud to present CRITICAL DEFIANCE's cult debut album, Misconception, on vinyl LP format. 

Hailing from the cult-metal hotbed of Chile, for over a decade now, CRITICAL DEFIANCE have been steadfast purveyors of authentically late '80s-style THRASH. With a couple demos and a split preceding it, the band truly put themselves on the metal map with their 2019 debut album, Misconception.

Absolutely ripping right from the start, Misconception announced in a manner most Dark Angel "we have arrived!" Encompassing eight songs in 40 minutes, CRITICAL DEFIANCE's debut album possessed a veritable treasure trove of ideas – or, rather, riffs and rhythms – too countless for such a seemingly compact runtime. Indeed, the Chileans whip forth a fury whereby everything races with palpitating intensity and the extreme aggression's well into the red, but due to their jawdropping chops and a mad-scientist style of songwriting, everything across Misconception flows with a paradoxical sort of grace. Granted, such was the way of such legends as Sadus, Demolition Hammer, Morbid Saint, and indeed Dark Angel, and CRITICAL DEFIANCE duly honored this rich legacy with their own brand of actually-catchy tech-thrash...and they were just getting started!

DVP 265 Bottomless – The Banishing LP/CD

DYING VICTIMS PRODUCTIONS is proud to present BOTTOMLESS' highly anticipated second album, The Banishing, on CD and vinyl LP formats.

Hailing from Italy, BOTTOMLESS was formed in 2016 by the hands of vocalist/guitarist Giorgio Trombino and drummer David Lucido; bassist Sara Bianchin joined shortly after. Collectively, the band possesses a wealth of experience across other prior and present bands, including Messa, Assumption, Becerus, Shrieking Demons, Morbo, and many more. Five years later, in 2021 and preceded by a trio of three of digital singles, BOTTOMLESS released their self-titled debut album: a clear affirmation of the power-trio's commitment to traditional doom metal yet with a slightly '70s edge, bluesy and hard rocking.

Now, two years later, BOTTOMLESS return with their second full-length. Appropriately titled The Banishing, the band take bold steps into new territories here, retaining their rootsy doom sound but moving it toward the epic and sometimes evil and most definitely dark. The relatively-dramatic shift reflects a focus on themes of magic, death, remembrance, and sorrow, most poignantly displayed across such tracks as "Guardians of Silence," "By the Sword of the Archangel," and the acoustic ballad "Drawn Into Yesterdays." Even more so than the first album, The Banishing is a doom metal record for doom maniacs, reflecting emotional atmospheres reminiscent of classic Candlemass, Solitude Aeternus, the UK's Solstice, and Manilla Road's slower moments whilst firmly residing on a foundation of '80s doom ala Pentagram, Trouble, and especially Black Sabbath; one could say that BOTTOMLESS are even approaching the latter's cult years with Tony Martin on the mic. And like the best vintage doom, whether it's entrenched in the '70s or '80s, The Banishing is richly wrapped in an authentically analog production, all recorded, mixed, and mastered on tape in a few sessions.

BOTTOMLESS are truly hitting their stride now. The Banishing is for all those heavy rockin' castaways who are living backwards, banished from the modern world and still looking to carve their own individual path into the realm of slow, somber heavy metal.

The Hamburg based three-piece is back after a short hiatus and proves once again that genre limitations are nothing they care about. While the trademarks of their much-acclaimed debut album "Uncertain Times" from 2019 are certainly still there, the band will not stop to incorporate new elements into their sound. This puts them in their very own spot among more genre abiding current heavy metal acts.

DYING VICTIMS PRODUCTIONS is proud to present the second installation of its compilation series on CD format.

Summarizing the various styles of tradition metal and thus titled "Heavy Metal Attack", this CD compilation contains (sold out) demos/eps by 5 of Heavy/Doom/Speed metal acts on the label. All of these have so far been available only on cassette tape and 7" and are now unleashed onto a broader mass. Featured bands are Germany's Blitz with their first demo "The Nachtmahr Sessions" (Heavy/Speed), Germany's Moon with their debut demo "On The Other Side Of Darkness" (Heavy/Doom), Germany's Iron Kobra with their 2018 ep "Kerker & Drachen" (Heavy), Germany's Spiker with their demo "S.A.D.M." (Heavy) as well as Italy's Temptress with their debut ep "The Orb" (Heavy).

DVP 267 Farscape – Purged and Forgotten LP/CD/MC

DYING VICTIMS PRODUCTIONS is proud to present FARSCAPE's long-awaited fourth album, Purged and Forgotten, on CD, vinyl LP, and cassette tape formats.

Formed in 1998, Brazil's FARSCAPE helped lead the charge for the neo-retro thrash resurgence in their homeland, which continues unabated to this day. A slew of releases came in 2001 – two demos, and respective splits with Atomic Roar and Vexed – but it was the 2003 debut album Demon's Massacre where FARSCAPE first (and fully) stamped their name on the international metal map. While their contemporaries took slicker or more technical routes with their thrash, the quartet's defiantly flew the flag of hate raised by Kreator during the mid/late '80s; in fact, vocalist/guitarist Witchcaptor could be a dead-ringer for classic Mille. During all this, all four members – amazingly, THE SAME LINEUP to this day – pursued other equally archaic metals with the likes of Diabolic Force, Atomic Roar, Apokalyptic Raids, Sodomizer, and later Whipstriker, further sowing the seeds of influence in their native Brazil and abroad. Two more albums followed, 2006's Killers on the Loose and 2013's Primitive Blitzkrieg, as well as a handful of short-length releases, but FARSCAPE essentially went on hiatus following that third album.

Now, a full decade since their last official recordings, FARSCAPE return with arguably their best album yet, Purged and Forgotten. After an eerie (and quite surprisingly melodic) intro, the fire & fury of classic Teutonic thrash is felt – and, by proxy, which they helped shape in a way most Brazilian so many years ago – but equally burning are some new, ever-so-subtle twists on that noble idiom. Without ever quite going fully "slick" nor "tech," FARSCAPE here manage to honorably defy the Teutonic template: a more pronounced emphasis on leads, alternating between the eerily melodic and the tensely harmonic; tiny touches of atmospheric synth underneath the ripping riot of violence, further emphasizing the eerie; and in Witchcaptor's charismatic snarl, an equally surprising number of thinking-outside-the-box patterns as well as layering, giving Purged and Forgotten an unusual, almost-"hall of mirrors" aspect. Elsewhere, the quartet's songwriting locates that sweet spot between the linear and the twisted, not quite resorting to standard verse/chorus structures nor going overboard into the overly complicated. Simply, the red-eyed & rabid rush of classic FARSCAPE is accounted for, but these discerning veterans aren't short on honorable ways to wind their characteristic sound. Purged and Forgotten? Not fucking yet!

DVP 268 Dungeon – Into The Ruins MLP/MCD/MC

DYING VICTIMS PRODUCTIONS is proud to present the long-awaited new mini-album of England/Germany's DUNGEON, Into the Ruins, on CD, 12" vinyl, and cassette tape formats.

Originally formed in London, DUNGEON began their speed-thrash D-beat conquest with an aptly titled demo, Unholy Speed Attack, in 2015. A year later came the English Hell demo, released by the respected Me Saco Un Ojo Records. DUNGEON teamed up with Me Saco Un Ojo again for the release Purifying Fire mini-album in 2018, hitting a fever pitch in intensity and personality.

Now, a long five years after that last record, the hellions of DUNGEON return with another mini-album, and their most defining statement of metalpunk aggression: Into the Ruins. This MLP was recorded live over a sordid weekend in a damp Berlin bunker by engineer Max Hillebrand (Vasseur, Children) in September 2022. Featuring five filthy tracks across 22 minutes, Into the Ruins sees DUNGEON dig deeper into destruction, with evermore extreme influences bleeding into their sound. Their berserker energies summon Sodom and violent '80s thrash as well as Morbid Angel, Mercyful Fate, and Raped Ass-era Anti Cimex among other aural terrors, all merging into DUNGEON's signature explosive sound. The Venom/Discharge/Priest foundation is still present, but warped and perverted to an even greater degree.

Into the Ruins is no doubt the work of one, all-pistons-pumping unit, but individual performances are worth noting for their contribution to the black (w)hole. DUNGEON master Luke Drew (ex-Ekrixi) has become an unstoppable force of demented musical wizardy, his songwriting reaching new heights over 2020's lockdown. Six-string sadist Daragh Markham (Inhuman Nature, Who Cares?) brings his most spiteful guitar attacks to date. Olivia Airey (Maggot Heart, Raze) proves why she is one of the most sought-after players in the underground, with a filthy and undeniable presence throughout the MLP. And skin-smasher Chris Parker (Venomwolf) holds these shreds of sanity together with his uncanny instinct for barbaric flair. With Hillebrand at the helm, the full spectrum assault of DUNGEON's chaotic, destructive, and notorious live shows has been fully harnessed and unleashed across this recording, resulting in five raw blasts of heavy D-beat metal savagery. A fitting score for the imminent collapse of civilization, DUNGEON give you a glimpse Into the Ruins...

DVP 269 Fukkin' Vengeance – Sewer Surge LP/CD/MC

DYING VICTIMS PRODUCTIONS is proud to present the highly anticipated debut album of Poland's FUKKIN' VENGEANCE, Sewer Surge, on CD, vinyl LP, and cassette tape formats.

Hailing from Warsaw, Poland's VENGEANCE – AKA FUKKIN' VENGEANCE – were formed in 2018 by guitarist Galin Soulripper  and drummer Bomber. Later on, bassist Madman from Torpor and vocalist Alberth Dust of Bestiality joined the band, and the Fukkin' Vengeance demo was recorded and released in early 2020. After their debut live show, the band parted ways with Alberth Dust. Vikk Vandal became the new vocalist; with his contribution, FUKKIN' VENGEANCE started to rehearse the material for their first album. In the middle of the album's recording session, Madman left the band, and shortly after his departure, Lucifera took on the bass and laid her tracks on the album, therefore establishing the lineup.

And, at long last, that first FUKKIN' VEGEANCE album is here: Sewer Surge, no more perfectly titled. Like a storm-blast back to 1984, FUKKIN' VEGEANCE's first album is a rough, raw, but also refined travelogue across ancient metals and dark, dingy landscapes: a true True Metal maniac's album that shows shades of classic Tokyo Blade, Living Death, OZ, Iron Angel, and Abattoir as well as the deepest dungeons of the NWOBHM. And yet, what really puts these Poles over is the absolutely electric personality – dirty as fuck and definitely slumming it up in those sewers, but strangely, invigoratingly DESPERATE and utterly going for the glory. Of course, all this aplomb would be for naught if they didn't have the songs to back it up, and Sewer Surge positively bristles with one street-level anthem after another: the energy is always there, whether it's a sewer-strutting mid-tempo or (more often) a long-live-the-loud speed metalled charge. But, lest one think that FUKKIN' VENGEANCE are simply rivetheaded and only rivetheaded, there's a tasteful incorporation of moody melody into their surprisingly spacious riffing, elevating them above their more strictly retro-minded contemporaries and more so driving home the point that the sewer is indeed one of the darkest (and dankest) places around. Feel their Sewer Surge post-haste!

DYING VICTIMS PRODUCTIONS is proud to present the highly anticipated debut album of Sweden's ATONEMENT, Sadistic Invaders, on CD and vinyl LP formats.

One of the most literally explosive young bands in the nowadays metal underground, ATONEMENT are a trio of Swedes whose average age was 16 years old when they released their debut demo, Merciless Blasphemy, in 2021. Despite such youth, ATONEMENT proved that they are steeped in the ancient essence of thrashing death metal circa 1987. Bubbling forth from their cauldron of nastiness were the likes of early Destruction, Sepultura, Possessed, Death, Sweden's Morbid, Germany's Poison, and Chile's Pentagram, and thus was Merciless Blasphemy aptly titled, for each of the demo's five songs whipped forth a filth & fury quite unlike anything else around.

With expectations understandably high, ATONEMENT took their time crafting the penultimate debut album, and two years later it arrives in the form of Sadistic Invaders. Yet another aptly titled recording, Sadistic Invaders carries forward that filth & fury of its short-length predecessor and amazingly ups the nastiness to hellish levels. Again, even with the band not yet in their 20s, ATONEMENT are dead-ringers for juiced-up and jackhammering deathrash of a most mid-'80s vintage, and the ten songs they devilishly dole out across the 37-minute album are somehow more crazed and compact than on said demo. And whereas that demo's ultra-rawness emitted an air of the otherworldly, here on Sadistic Invaders do the trio impart a thicker and fuller-bodied aspect, retaining a respectable rawness but not at the expense of their superlative chops; while it's always full speed ahead for ATONEMENT, they manage to twist the ceremonial knife in different and sometimes-impossible ways, elevating the album above the masses still searching for Endless Pain. Dizzying yet addicting, Sadistic Invaders hits with the power and precision of a nuclear strike.

And yet, it's still early days for ATONEMENT, so who knows how far they'll venture into the lungs of Hell? Sadistic Invaders provides the first full-length clues, and is highly recommended for maniacs of Deathhammer, Division Speed, and Norway's late/great Condor.

DVP 262 Spectre – Lonesome Gambler MLP/CD/MC

DYING VICTIMS PRODUCTIONS is proud to present a brand-new EP from Australia's SPECTRE, Lonesome Gambler, on CD, 12" vinyl, and cassette tape formats. The CD and tape versions will include five bonus tracks from the band's preceding singles and splits.   

SPECTRE is the sterling heavy metal vison of Will Spectre. Formed in 2017, the band made its recorded debut that summer with the two-song Silver Invaders / Stand Alone single on the cult Heavy Chains label, which DYING VICTIMS released on 7" vinyl later that year. SPECTRE's primary influences are heavy metal and hard rock of the late '70s and early '80s, and they continued that streak with the Hard Attacks digital single in 2018. Four years would pass before the next SPECTRE recording, the two-song Drifter.  On that record, Will Spectre was joined by his heavy friends Jake Glas (Outcast/Teuton) on vocals and David Harrington-George (The Wizar'd/Tarot) on bass. Expanding their purist palette, here did SPECTRE sprinkle spices from Will Spectre's other musical conjurings – namely, The Wizar'd, Tarot, Dracula, and Crypt Vapor.   

Despite its brief length, Drifter was undoubtedly a pivotal recording for SPECTRE, and now the duo of Will Spectre and David Harrington-George return with arguably their best and bravest record yet, Lonesome Gambler. With the average length around five minutes per track, the four songs comprising Lonesome Gambler display an "epic compactness" which wholly suits the moodier material here. Taking the bathos and pathos of its predecessor further, SPECTRE conjure a mystical realm where private-press NWOBHM, dark AOR, and even early deathrock reside: the rocking is measured but not too hard, the melodies are melancholic but not totally depressing, and back on the mic, Spectre's vocals are somehow anthemic and sagely simultaneously. The vintage synths color these road/life/space-weary ruminations with tastefully dramatic effect, putting SPECTRE squarely on that precipice between 1979 and 1980, equally excited about and fearful of the future. It's a subtle refinement altogether, but one that proves there's plenty of magick still to be mined.   

Bringing the past into the present, the CD and tape versions of Lonesome Gambler will include five bonus tracks – all from the band's aforementioned short-lengths, thereby making this a currently complete discography of SPECTRE. Roll the dice and turn the wheel!

DVP 263 Flight – Echoes of Journeys Past LP/CD/MC/Shirt

DYING VICTIMS PRODUCTIONS is proud to present the highly anticipated third album of Norway's FLIGHT, Echoes of Journeys Past, on CD, vinyl LP, and cassette tape formats.

To call Norway's FLIGHT "retro" or "vintage" is to miss the point. Since their formation in 2012, the band have walked the fine line between effortless and studious – a throwback to '70s proto-metal, sure, but done with such vigor and authenticity that even the most skeptical listener would be helpless to resist being whisked away some four decades into the past. Simply, their music exists in that same vacuum when ROCK conquered all. FLIGHT bring the past into the present and write understated-yet-invigorating rockers that draw from a very rich (and idiosyncratic) history. To date, the band's two full-length records mark specific periods of their patient oeuvre: 2015's rough 'n' ready self-titled debut and 2018's sci-fi-themed A Leap Through Matter.

Now, FLIGHT continue that patient ascent with LP #3, Echoes of Journeys Past. Presciently titled, Echoes of Journeys Past indeed steps deeper into that mythical, muddied past where genre delineations had yet to be created – and, more so, when "rocking out" was fully based on feel. Retaining that tasteful kinda-clean guitar tone that paradoxically allows their intrinsic grit to hit that much harder, FLIGHT seek a moodier batch of songs that dart in dazzling directions. Each one's based on a brisk, but-never-rushed pace, and each winds back and forth between hook and lead, rocking and reeling.

There's an elusive X-factor that makes the album such an enchanting spin, a touch of melancholy, or more so mystery. But most of all, it's FLIGHT's synthesis of songwriting and performance that pushes Echoes of Journeys Past into the halls of greatness. Every hit of the drum or strum of the guitar evokes a sensation of warmth, and the vocals adds a layer of pathos to the soundscape. All of this works in service of telling the STORY of the song. Indeed, the album plays out like a story, recalling so much of the 1970s without singly settling on one specific era or sound, before reaching a climax with the ten-minute closer "Mystic Mountain," which sounds exactly as it's titled.

The retro-rock game is more crowded than ever, but with roots equally in proto-metal, FLIGHT continue to explore relatively rarefied ground with increasingly powerful results. Strange as it may seem that that power has exploded tenfold by scaling back, Echoes of a Journey Past could yet be the band's breakthrough record. Those who cherish Gorham/Robertson-era Thin Lizzy, Rainbow's Down to Earth into Difficult to Cure, or even Blue Öyster Cult at their late '70s / early '80s peak, you've found your new modern classic."

Hailing from Bogota, RECKLESS are a Colombian speed metal band formed in 2019 by vocalist/guitarist W. Metalbringer. He was soon joined by bassist Jawbreaker, who brings a solid & heavy foundation to their compositions; drummer Rites666, who drives the band's frantic pace; and guitarist Spitfire, who complements the main riffing with blistering, passionate solos.   With a solid foundation of Judas Priest, Accept, Running Wild, Slayer, Exodus, and Mercyful Fate, RECKLESS soon made their public debut with the two-song Relentless Assault / Prisoner single. Through those influences, the quartet displayed a distinct synthesis of thrash metal propulsion and classic heavy metal melodicism, arriving at a style of speed metal that's timeless and fresh. 

Now, RECKLESS burst forth with a full display of their powers and potential, the debut album Sharp Magick Steel. Almost too perfectly titled, Sharp Magick Steel is a cruising and chrome-encased blast of judiciously tight aggression and invigorating, streamlined songwriting. DYING VICTIMS PRODUCTIONS is proud to present the highly anticipated debut album of Germany's SAVAGE, Glory Riders, on CD, vinyl LP, and cassette tape formats.

Hailing from Bavaria, SAVAGE formed in 2019 and promptly began solidifying their aesthetic. Then a trio, SAVAGE's sound remained firmly within the 1980s, and specifically on the darker and more dangerous side of the Sunset Strip – namely W.A.S.P. and early Mötley Crüe. The first sinful fruit was borne with their self-titled debut EP, which was recorded at the end of 2021 and then self-released during the following summer. Strictly DIY from mixing and mastering to promotion and distribution, Savage showed that SAVAGE had the fire already raging: word of mouth spread worldwide, the record nearly sold out, and work had already begun on their debut full-length!

Now with the addition of rhythm guitarist Alex "Axel" Warrior, SAVAGE have at least developed into the (fuck-like-a) beast they always aimed for, and are prepared to deliver a bound-to-be-classic debut album: Glory Riders. Almost presciently titled, Glory Riders soon becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy of dirty and raw metal – or, as the band rightly liken it, MEAN HEAVY METAL. From sound and spirit on down to production and overall attitude, SAVAGE have the sleaziest side of classic American metal down COLD...or, should that be "fiery"? Indeed, even with the categorically cruising mid-tempo at which they move, SAVAGE positively ooze energy every single second here; hooks and heaviness take equal weight, and there's just the right amount of spaciousness here (ala W.A.S.P.'s nigh-untouchable opening trio of albums) to lend moodiness and mystery to the band's stadium-ready bravura. Neither flashy nor rudimentary, Glory Riders is simply stripped-down and muscular where it needs to be, keeping emphasis on the songwriting (and solos!) and letting SAVAGE's irresistible attitude take hold.

Without hyperbole, SAVAGE have hereby thrown down the gauntlet for any band, ever, attempting to invoke the sound & spirit of the aforementioned glory years of W.A.S.P., and Mötley Crüe. Further references include classic Twisted Sister, early Lizzy Borden, Halloween, Impaler, and even Coup d'état-era Plasmatics, but one listen to Glory Riders and you'll be convinced that these still-young gods are the REAL fucking DEAL!

DVP 267 Farscape – Purged and Forgotten LP/CD/MC

DYING VICTIMS PRODUCTIONS is proud to present FARSCAPE's long-awaited fourth album, Purged and Forgotten, on CD, vinyl LP, and cassette tape formats.

Formed in 1998, Brazil's FARSCAPE helped lead the charge for the neo-retro thrash resurgence in their homeland, which continues unabated to this day. A slew of releases came in 2001 – two demos, and respective splits with Atomic Roar and Vexed – but it was the 2003 debut album Demon's Massacre where FARSCAPE first (and fully) stamped their name on the international metal map. While their contemporaries took slicker or more technical routes with their thrash, the quartet's defiantly flew the flag of hate raised by Kreator during the mid/late '80s; in fact, vocalist/guitarist Witchcaptor could be a dead-ringer for classic Mille. During all this, all four members – amazingly, THE SAME LINEUP to this day – pursued other equally archaic metals with the likes of Diabolic Force, Atomic Roar, Apokalyptic Raids, Sodomizer, and later Whipstriker, further sowing the seeds of influence in their native Brazil and abroad. Two more albums followed, 2006's Killers on the Loose and 2013's Primitive Blitzkrieg, as well as a handful of short-length releases, but FARSCAPE essentially went on hiatus following that third album.

Now, a full decade since their last official recordings, FARSCAPE return with arguably their best album yet, Purged and Forgotten. After an eerie (and quite surprisingly melodic) intro, the fire & fury of classic Teutonic thrash is felt – and, by proxy, which they helped shape in a way most Brazilian so many years ago – but equally burning are some new, ever-so-subtle twists on that noble idiom. Without ever quite going fully "slick" nor "tech," FARSCAPE here manage to honorably defy the Teutonic template: a more pronounced emphasis on leads, alternating between the eerily melodic and the tensely harmonic; tiny touches of atmospheric synth underneath the ripping riot of violence, further emphasizing the eerie; and in Witchcaptor's charismatic snarl, an equally surprising number of thinking-outside-the-box patterns as well as layering, giving Purged and Forgotten an unusual, almost-"hall of mirrors" aspect. Elsewhere, the quartet's songwriting locates that sweet spot between the linear and the twisted, not quite resorting to standard verse/chorus structures nor going overboard into the overly complicated. Simply, the red-eyed & rabid rush of classic FARSCAPE is accounted for, but these discerning veterans aren't short on honorable ways to wind their characteristic sound. Purged and Forgotten? Not fucking yet!

DVP 268 Dungeon – Into The Ruins MLP/MCD/MC

DYING VICTIMS PRODUCTIONS is proud to present the long-awaited new mini-album of England/Germany's DUNGEON, Into the Ruins, on CD, 12" vinyl, and cassette tape formats.

Originally formed in London, DUNGEON began their speed-thrash D-beat conquest with an aptly titled demo, Unholy Speed Attack, in 2015. A year later came the English Hell demo, released by the respected Me Saco Un Ojo Records. DUNGEON teamed up with Me Saco Un Ojo again for the release Purifying Fire mini-album in 2018, hitting a fever pitch in intensity and personality.

Now, a long five years after that last record, the hellions of DUNGEON return with another mini-album, and their most defining statement of metalpunk aggression: Into the Ruins. This MLP was recorded live over a sordid weekend in a damp Berlin bunker by engineer Max Hillebrand (Vasseur, Children) in September 2022. Featuring five filthy tracks across 22 minutes, Into the Ruins sees DUNGEON dig deeper into destruction, with evermore extreme influences bleeding into their sound. Their berserker energies summon Sodom and violent '80s thrash as well as Morbid Angel, Mercyful Fate, and Raped Ass-era Anti Cimex among other aural terrors, all merging into DUNGEON's signature explosive sound. The Venom/Discharge/Priest foundation is still present, but warped and perverted to an even greater degree.

Into the Ruins is no doubt the work of one, all-pistons-pumping unit, but individual performances are worth noting for their contribution to the black (w)hole. DUNGEON master Luke Drew (ex-Ekrixi) has become an unstoppable force of demented musical wizardy, his songwriting reaching new heights over 2020's lockdown. Six-string sadist Daragh Markham (Inhuman Nature, Who Cares?) brings his most spiteful guitar attacks to date. Olivia Airey (Maggot Heart, Raze) proves why she is one of the most sought-after players in the underground, with a filthy and undeniable presence throughout the MLP. And skin-smasher Chris Parker (Venomwolf) holds these shreds of sanity together with his uncanny instinct for barbaric flair. With Hillebrand at the helm, the full spectrum assault of DUNGEON's chaotic, destructive, and notorious live shows has been fully harnessed and unleashed across this recording, resulting in five raw blasts of heavy D-beat metal savagery. DVP 269 Fukkin' Vengeance – Sewer Surge LP/CD/MC

DYING VICTIMS PRODUCTIONS is proud to present the highly anticipated debut album of Poland's FUKKIN' VENGEANCE, Sewer Surge, on CD, vinyl LP, and cassette tape formats.

Hailing from Warsaw, Poland's VENGEANCE – AKA FUKKIN' VENGEANCE – were formed in 2018 by guitarist Galin Soulripper  and drummer Bomber. Later on, bassist Madman from Torpor and vocalist Alberth Dust of Bestiality joined the band, and the Fukkin' Vengeance demo was recorded and released in early 2020. After their debut live show, the band parted ways with Alberth Dust. Vikk Vandal became the new vocalist; with his contribution, FUKKIN' VENGEANCE started to rehearse the material for their first album. In the middle of the album's recording session, Madman left the band, and shortly after his departure, Lucifera took on the bass and laid her tracks on the album, therefore establishing the lineup.

And, at long last, that first FUKKIN' VEGEANCE album is here: Sewer Surge, no more perfectly titled. Like a storm-blast back to 1984, FUKKIN' VEGEANCE's first album is a rough, raw, but also refined travelogue across ancient metals and dark, dingy landscapes: a true True Metal maniac's album that shows shades of classic Tokyo Blade, Living Death, OZ, Iron Angel, and Abattoir as well as the deepest dungeons of the NWOBHM. And yet, what really puts these Poles over is the absolutely electric personality – dirty as fuck and definitely slumming it up in those sewers, but strangely, invigoratingly DESPERATE and utterly going for the glory. Of course, all this aplomb would be for naught if they didn't have the songs to back it up, and Sewer Surge positively bristles with one street-level anthem after another: the energy is always there, whether it's a sewer-strutting mid-tempo or (more often) a long-live-the-loud speed metalled charge. But, lest one think that FUKKIN' VENGEANCE are simply rivetheaded and only rivetheaded, there's a tasteful incorporation of moody melody into their surprisingly spacious riffing, elevating them above their more strictly retro-minded contemporaries and more so driving home the point that the sewer is indeed one of the darkest (and dankest) places around. Feel their Sewer Surge post-haste!

DVP 275 Ritvs – Der Tag Naht LP/CD/MC

DYING VICTIMS PRODUCTIONS is proud to present RITVS' striking debut album, Der Tag Naht, on CD, vinyl LP, and cassette tape formats.

RITVS may be new in name, but their history starts earlier. Under the preceding band name Vvlva, the band released a couple albums and a couple EPs of studiously vintage early hard rock / proto-metal. And the German quintet continue this backwards-looking path with the new moniker RITVS as a "new" old approach: exquisitely rustic late '70s sounds spanning hard rock, prog, AOR, and even late-days krautrock.

This exciting new chapter begins with Der Tag Naht, RITVS' debut under that moniker. This time, the Aschaffenburg band decided to only sing in their native German, which both pushes their lyrical boundaries and has a significant impact on their sound. The mostly narrative lyrics take the listener into dark and abysmal worlds that sometimes remind us more of our own world than what we wish for, much like so many great works of '70s science fiction did. Dazzling and dynamic in equal measure, the roaring Hammond organ shapes RITVS' characteristic sound, which equally rocks and rolls (and even ripples). In interaction with the warm, mossy guitar – both in sound and style – numerous licks and solo sequences are created, which are carried by a groovy rhythm section. During the album's songwriting, the band put special emphasis on combining catchiness with progressive elements, marrying heft and heaviness with poignant and emotive passages. Truly, across the entirety of Der Tag Naht is it clearly audible that all five members took their time to find the right (rustic) sounds, always reminding of the great late 70's without sounding dusty or tired. In fact, if there's one way to characterize the album, it's alive.

Earthdogs who thrill to the likes of late '70s Rainbow, Blue Öyster Cult, and Yes or even contemporaneous Kansas and Prof Wolfff, prepare to time-travel with RITVS' Der Tag Naht!

CANADIAN HEAVY ROCK...WITH A NWOBHM VIBE! Indeed, Freeways are a breath of fresh, northern air. Honoring the mystical undercurrents of so much classic Canadian rock of the past, the quartet's foundation is firm upon the hot-rockin' dynamics of '70s giants like UFO, Thin Lizzy, and April Wine along with the idiosyncratic twists of the unsung heroes of the NWOBHM and pub rock eras. It's a sound that's immediately familiar but also immediately engaging, so richly rendered are these soul-stirring odes to wanderlust, melancholia, and "Survival" itself.

Originally released in 2020 on Canadian Temple of Mystery Records, the album quickly sold out and together with their many great live performances, cemented FREEWAYS as one of the most exciting acts in the contemporary heavy rock scene.

True Bearings roves wild terrain, its push 'n' pull stirs the spirit, but never belabors the point; each of these seven streamlined songs is anchored to a plaintive, poignant hook, tastefully embellished with subtly delicate touches that proves Freeways as masters of mood. The quartet's interplay is untouchable here, given that their chosen idiom is the more-or-less hard(er) end of rock, exhibiting class and poise every step of the way, but perhaps no better evinced than on the near-seven-minute vamp of "Time is No Excuse." The Italian three-piece is known as a prolific work horse, clocking in at currently 4 full length albums. It is however their many split releases with infamous underground hordes that showcase their addiction and dedication to the underground. Graced with an incredible artwork by Claudio Scialabba, Bunker 66's direction is made clear from the get go. Evil and raw blackened speed/thrash is what listeners can expect from them.

Gathered Under Open Skies is indeed a special gathering, bringing together two forces that have become something like flagship bands for DYING VICTIMS: old "newcomers" FIRMAMENT and the reunited MIDNIGHT PREY. This special mini-album includes two brand-new tracks from both bands, totaling 23 minutes of vintage rock/metal moodiness.

FIRMAMENT continue their ascent following their widely acclaimed We Don't Rise, We Just Fall debut earlier this year, having largely risen from the ashes of speed metallers Tension but bringing a different approach with them. Here, with new vocalist Marco, the five-piece further flesh out that velvety vision, taking turn-of-the-'80s hard rock (and even a touch of equally early deathrock) down roads much more melancholic and emotive. You might even shed a tear while rocking out to their two fistbangers here; wherever you wanna go, FIRMAMENT will take you there. And tears may've been shed when MIDNIGHT PREY initially called it a day in 2020, but as of last year, the power-trio are back in action and, this summer, released a two-song tape to pick up right where they left off with their modern-classic Uncertain Times LP. Those two songs are provocatively titled – "Black Cat" and "Sword and Shield" – and between them, MIDNIGHT PREY keep that clean-yet-dirty surge that's equal parts punk, rock, and metal but totally unique. And considering the epic lengths these two tracks go to, the future suggests more splendors to come...

DYING VICTIMS PRODUCTIONS is proud to present the highly anticipated debut album of Colombia's RECKLESS, Sharp Magick Steel, on CD, vinyl LP, and cassette tape formats. 

Hailing from Bogota, RECKLESS are a Colombian speed metal band formed in 2019 by vocalist/guitarist W. Metalbringer. He was soon joined by bassist Jawbreaker, who brings a solid & heavy foundation to their compositions; drummer Rites666, who drives the band's frantic pace; and guitarist Spitfire, who complements the main riffing with blistering, passionate solos.   With a solid foundation of Judas Priest, Accept, Running Wild, Slayer, Exodus, and Mercyful Fate, RECKLESS soon made their public debut with the two-song Relentless Assault / Prisoner single. Through those influences, the quartet displayed a distinct synthesis of thrash metal propulsion and classic heavy metal melodicism, arriving at a style of speed metal that's timeless and fresh. 

Now, RECKLESS burst forth with a full display of their powers and potential, the debut album Sharp Magick Steel. Almost too perfectly titled, Sharp Magick Steel is a cruising and chrome-encased blast of judiciously tight aggression and invigorating, streamlined songwriting. RECKLESS here invoke their namesake by pushing the pedal to the literal metal, pumping pistons and pushing each of these eight songs forward with a locomotive thrust, but it's equally the deceptively patient execution which makes Sharp Magick Steel cut so thoroughly: these four metal warriors are totally in control, and they make it look – and sound – almost too easy. DYING VICTIMS PRODUCTIONS is proud to present the highly anticipated debut album of Germany's SAVAGE, Glory Riders, on CD, vinyl LP, and cassette tape formats.

Hailing from Bavaria, SAVAGE formed in 2019 and promptly began solidifying their aesthetic. Then a trio, SAVAGE's sound remained firmly within the 1980s, and specifically on the darker and more dangerous side of the Sunset Strip – namely W.A.S.P. and early Mötley Crüe. The first sinful fruit was borne with their self-titled debut EP, which was recorded at the end of 2021 and then self-released during the following summer. Strictly DIY from mixing and mastering to promotion and distribution, Savage showed that SAVAGE had the fire already raging: word of mouth spread worldwide, the record nearly sold out, and work had already begun on their debut full-length!

Now with the addition of rhythm guitarist Alex "Axel" Warrior, SAVAGE have at least developed into the (fuck-like-a) beast they always aimed for, and are prepared to deliver a bound-to-be-classic debut album: Glory Riders. Almost presciently titled, Glory Riders soon becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy of dirty and raw metal – or, as the band rightly liken it, MEAN HEAVY METAL. From sound and spirit on down to production and overall attitude, SAVAGE have the sleaziest side of classic American metal down COLD...or, should that be "fiery"? Indeed, even with the categorically cruising mid-tempo at which they move, SAVAGE positively ooze energy every single second here; hooks and heaviness take equal weight, and there's just the right amount of spaciousness here (ala W.A.S.P.'s nigh-untouchable opening trio of albums) to lend moodiness and mystery to the band's stadium-ready bravura. Neither flashy nor rudimentary, Glory Riders is simply stripped-down and muscular where it needs to be, keeping emphasis on the songwriting (and solos!) and letting SAVAGE's irresistible attitude take hold.

Without hyperbole, SAVAGE have hereby thrown down the gauntlet for any band, ever, attempting to invoke the sound & spirit of the aforementioned glory years of W.A.S.P., and Mötley Crüe. Further references include classic Twisted Sister, early Lizzy Borden, Halloween, Impaler, and even Coup d'état-era Plasmatics, but one listen to Glory Riders and you'll be convinced that these still-young gods are the REAL fucking DEAL!

Borne out of metal and bred for the purpose of learning, The Alien (ex-Blackrat) conceived of KONTACT with then-bandmate Sven Nilson (Antichrist [Sweden], ex-Mystik). A surrogate cult of memberz was necessitated by the great dying of 2020AD, during which The Alien was imprisoned in its home continent of "Canada," where the group yet persistz. Joined by Matt B1257+12Z (Traveler) and Morh Morf Xela (Hrom) on guitarz, as well as a yet-unidentified force "Unknown" (Chieftain) on drumz, KONTACT began broadcasting obscure and ancient signalz throughout the underground, influenced by the mythic teachingz of Manilla Road, Accept, Master's Hammer, and otherz.

Now finally ready for transmission, Full Contact is KONTACT's primum opus, a compendium of stellar hymnz meant to hasten the arrival of the world beyond. Bent backwardz yet strangely (or eerily) approachable, Full Contact inhabits a neon-hazed utopia/dystopia where sleaze metal fuses DNA with tech-thrash – where busyness and commerce collide in resplendent sci-fi dayglo. "Weird" and "wild" are merely human wordz to describe KONTACT's highly idiosyncratic approach, but to them, such loaded terms exist in star-planes far, far from their orbit. For nearly 20 years now, Spanish metal inquisition IRON CURTAIN have been stalwart defenders of the faith. Doubtlessly (and vividly!) displayed by its photographic cover art courtesy of Daniel Rabandan, Savage Dawn is indeed a new dawn for IRON CURTAIN: a concerted return to their rough-hewn roots, only spit-shined with the gleaming chrome that's come to define them in recent years. Born and raised under the hot &  blinding southern light of Portugal's capital Lisbon, TOXIKULL took off in 2016 and have backed down since: a tumult from the Atlantic, rising to take the world by storm. With two full-lengths, an EP, and a collection of singles, full of incredible guestsfrom bands such as Skull Fist and Crystal Viper under their belts, TOXIKULL's taunting, fearless attitude has conquered the European heavy metal underground. Gleaming with their brightest chrome yet, TOXIKULL here invoke the quintessential likes of '80s Ozzy Osbourne, Dio, Judas Priest, Accept, Saxon, Manowar, Black Sabbath, WASP, Ratt, Scorpions, Picture, Germany's Warlock, America's Icon, France's Sortilege, and many more. DVP 285 Coltre – To Watch With Hands To Touch With Eyes LP/CD

DYING VICTIMS PRODUCTIONS is proud to present COLTRE's highly anticipated debut album, To Watch With Hands To Touch With Eyes, on CD and vinyl LP formats.

COLTRE are a heavy metal band based in London, formed in the summer of 2019 when lead guitarist Daniel Sweed and guitarist/vocalist Marco Stamigna crossed paths at the same university. Bassist Max Graves, who also attended the same university, soon joined the lineup. The trio's shared passion and creative ideas laid the groundwork for their debut release, the EP Under The Influence.

Between September and November of 2019, COLTRE diligently worked on the EP, initially developed as a four-track mini-album. In December of the same year, they released the single "Crimson Killer." Under The Influence made its debut in February 2020, initially in a self-released CD format, a true DIY edition. The EP's success caught the attention of DYING VICTIMS, who sought to collaborate with the band. This collaboration resulted in the re-release of Under The Influence in multiple formats, including an additional track (the song "Fight"), in July. The year 2020 concluded with the addition of Edoardo Mariotti to the lineup, taking on the role of drummer for the band.

With the quartet now complete, COLTRE embarked on the arrangement and development of songs that would ultimately become their debut album, To Watch With Hands To Touch With Eyes. If the moody metallic majesty of Under The Influence was a portent of things to come, then To Watch With Hands To Touch With Eyes takes everything to the next level. COLTRE's charismatic sound is still in place, thankfully – dark 'n' mysterious riffs, vigorously galloping rhythms, epic-yet-direct compositions, and the sage-like pipes of Stamigna atop it all – but there's crucial distinctions here. For one, there's a crisper sound at play across the LP; the recording's sharper yet still rustic, perhaps a bit more hard rock in style than the NWOBHM of its predecessor. As such, the band suitably sound even livelier and more locked-in than before, with Mariotti's many-armed drumming in particular guiding COLTRE to new destinations (and dungeons, and battlefields!). Further, their songwriting still hovers around six minutes per track, but everything feels more compact without losing the latent epicness. Most crucially, there's a strut and swagger across To Watch With Hands To Touch With Eyes that's IMPOSSIBLE to deny, such on the Tubeway Army-spoofing "Friends Aren't Electric."

One could still be mistaken for thinking COLTRE were some unearthed relic from the original NWOBHM movement, so hot-rockin' is their swords-aloft surge, evoking high fantasy and urban grit in equal measure, but most importantly retaining that pivotal rock 'n' roll thrust Thin Lizzy largely gifted to that movement. But, with increased dynamic interplay and impossibly stronger songs, To Watch With Hands To Touch With Eyes wipes the slate clean and casts COLTRE as new "old" monarchs in the making!

DVP 275 Ritvs – Der Tag Naht LP/CD/MC

DYING VICTIMS PRODUCTIONS is proud to present RITVS' striking debut album, Der Tag Naht, on CD, vinyl LP, and cassette tape formats.

RITVS may be new in name, but their history starts earlier. Under the preceding band name Vvlva, the band released a couple albums and a couple EPs of studiously vintage early hard rock / proto-metal. And the German quintet continue this backwards-looking path with the new moniker RITVS as a "new" old approach: exquisitely rustic late '70s sounds spanning hard rock, prog, AOR, and even late-days krautrock.

This exciting new chapter begins with Der Tag Naht, RITVS' debut under that moniker. This time, the Aschaffenburg band decided to only sing in their native German, which both pushes their lyrical boundaries and has a significant impact on their sound. The mostly narrative lyrics take the listener into dark and abysmal worlds that sometimes remind us more of our own world than what we wish for, much like so many great works of '70s science fiction did. Dazzling and dynamic in equal measure, the roaring Hammond organ shapes RITVS' characteristic sound, which equally rocks and rolls (and even ripples). In interaction with the warm, mossy guitar – both in sound and style – numerous licks and solo sequences are created, which are carried by a groovy rhythm section. During the album's songwriting, the band put special emphasis on combining catchiness with progressive elements, marrying heft and heaviness with poignant and emotive passages. Truly, across the entirety of Der Tag Naht is it clearly audible that all five members took their time to find the right (rustic) sounds, always reminding of the great late 70's without sounding dusty or tired. In fact, if there's one way to characterize the album, it's alive.

Earthdogs who thrill to the likes of late '70s Rainbow, Blue Öyster Cult, and Yes or even contemporaneous Kansas and Prof Wolfff, prepare to time-travel with RITVS' Der Tag Naht!

DYING VICTIMS PRODUCTIONS is proud to present the highly demanded repress of True Bearings, the debut album by Canadian FREEWAYS, on CD, 12" vinyl and music cassette formats.

CANADIAN HEAVY ROCK...WITH A NWOBHM VIBE! Indeed, Freeways are a breath of fresh, northern air. Honoring the mystical undercurrents of so much classic Canadian rock of the past, the quartet's foundation is firm upon the hot-rockin' dynamics of '70s giants like UFO, Thin Lizzy, and April Wine along with the idiosyncratic twists of the unsung heroes of the NWOBHM and pub rock eras. It's a sound that's immediately familiar but also immediately engaging, so richly rendered are these soul-stirring odes to wanderlust, melancholia, and "Survival" itself.

Originally released in 2020 on Canadian Temple of Mystery Records, the album quickly sold out and together with their many great live performances, cemented FREEWAYS as one of the most exciting acts in the contemporary heavy rock scene.

True Bearings roves wild terrain, its push 'n' pull stirs the spirit, but never belabors the point; each of these seven streamlined songs is anchored to a plaintive, poignant hook, tastefully embellished with subtly delicate touches that proves Freeways as masters of mood. The quartet's interplay is untouchable here, given that their chosen idiom is the more-or-less hard(er) end of rock, exhibiting class and poise every step of the way, but perhaps no better evinced than on the near-seven-minute vamp of "Time is No Excuse." Thus, space and shade AND rocking hard and free coexist in the Freeways world, and the 37-minute True Bearings is a highway worth cruising time and time again.

DVP 277 Bunker 66 – Portraits of Dismay CD

DYING VICTIMS PRODUCTIONS is proud to present Portraits of Dismay, a special singles compilation by Italian BUNKER 66, on CD format.

The Italian three-piece is known as a prolific work horse, clocking in at currently 4 full length albums. It is however their many split releases with infamous underground hordes that showcase their addiction and dedication to the underground. Graced with an incredible artwork by Claudio Scialabba, Bunker 66's direction is made clear from the get go. Evil and raw blackened speed/thrash is what listeners can expect from them.

Since most of these 7" and 12" splits have been available on vinyl only until now, this 18 songs and 12 years spanning CD compilation has been inevitable.

Gathered Under Open Skies is indeed a special gathering, bringing together two forces that have become something like flagship bands for DYING VICTIMS: old "newcomers" FIRMAMENT and the reunited MIDNIGHT PREY. This special mini-album includes two brand-new tracks from both bands, totaling 23 minutes of vintage rock/metal moodiness.

FIRMAMENT continue their ascent following their widely acclaimed We Don't Rise, We Just Fall debut earlier this year, having largely risen from the ashes of speed metallers Tension but bringing a different approach with them. Here, with new vocalist Marco, the five-piece further flesh out that velvety vision, taking turn-of-the-'80s hard rock (and even a touch of equally early deathrock) down roads much more melancholic and emotive. You might even shed a tear while rocking out to their two fistbangers here; wherever you wanna go, FIRMAMENT will take you there. And tears may've been shed when MIDNIGHT PREY initially called it a day in 2020, but as of last year, the power-trio are back in action and, this summer, released a two-song tape to pick up right where they left off with their modern-classic Uncertain Times LP. Those two songs are provocatively titled – "Black Cat" and "Sword and Shield" – and between them, MIDNIGHT PREY keep that clean-yet-dirty surge that's equal parts punk, rock, and metal but totally unique. And considering the epic lengths these two tracks go to, the future suggests more splendors to come...
