Given the same studio/producer its no surprise but I only noticed yesterday (30 years later!) how similar Slaughter in the Vatican sounds to Deicide's debut album... they're identical sounding, its uncanny.   I dunno though, Im dithering over this gig, if i lived in dublin id go for sure, but im only half interested and its a long round trip on a school night... New album is good though (if not really the style i usually choose to put on these days...)

Just noticed it's an EU / UK tour. Fuck 'em, they're stuck with us, giving them too much credit by singling them out as separate!! 

What was the buzz with the after-show stage invasion anyway? Mr. Rees was not a happy man!
