Def the best 3 and I understand the singles band sentiment but Disintegration def stands up as well.

Cure's best b-sides as chosen by Simon Price (Guardian/ Quietus/ Melody Maker)

Interesting choices, and a nice spread across their career, sticking to '80s stuff would have been predictable.

Mixes Of A Lost World on the way, 2/3 disc remix album:

Not sure that 3 discs of remixes are warranted TBH. After studio, instrumental, and live versions they're really milking it with this now. Still the profits are going to charity, so that's something.

Chino Moreno's remix of Warsong:

Haven't listened to any of the others. This one is... not great imho.

26th June 2026 - The Cure are playing Marlay Park again.

Won't be going myself but I reckon it'd be mighty.

28th June 2026 - Belsonic, Belfast.

Hate Marlay park for the traffic and lack of infrastructure, will probably go anyway,  week after Metallica though

Came to €197 for two front standing tickets this morning after fees. Hopefully there's no more good concerts announced for next year I've reached my limit.

Hopefully this won't sell out before I get paid because I'm mad to go to it.

Could do the Belfast one as well if it came to it

Mad to see The Cure but at a wedding that day. Shame! Also week after Metallica and fucking hate Marlay Park!

I'm hoping they make it down this way next year. The new album is so good. Album of the year and all that shit.

New album in the can!I expect it'll be out before these gigs.
