"Swans" was the last thing of theirs I really liked and I always found it a little too polished (probably to make up for how think "Flowers" sounds) but this live version of "The Snow In My Hand" is absolutely perfect. Must have worn the VHS tape I used to have it on out from watching it so much

It's way too dry

This live version sounds immense
Gives the song a new lease
Violin sounds great as well, carrying a central melody
 
They are some band for mixing heavy; fast; slow; doom

It's like misery and anger in 1 tune 😎

I can't stand here and listen to people defame Turn Loose the Swans. I won't stand for it!

What is the image on the artwork? A dripping candle? Or actual jizz??

Yeah I was thinking it looked like a grotto with a statue that had been distorted or overlayed with something else.

To then get 'Turn Loose the Swans' sandwiched by 2 EPs after 'As the Flower Withers' (my favourite by them) was just unreal

- ... Swans
- I Am the Bloody Earth

They were pure gold then

yeah, had this on a longsleeve shirt. was my pride and joy, but feck did i know what was going on with that image for a brave while
