Fuck sake. Following Chelsea since 93 and all I felt this evening was like they were the embodiment of Cromwell himself against rovers. Hated that

Ah there was a gulf in class as expected, but Rovers will be kicking themselves with the individual errors. They worked extremely hard and limited the carnage as much as the could.
Premier sports said Chelsea had £270m worth on the pitch tonight! The top 5 leagues shouldn't be in this competition tbh.

I think Rovers have Molde next?

I'm a big league of Ireland fan all my life, there's been a big upsurge the last few years.Hopefully it keeps going in that direction.

I've never been an loi fan myself, instead taking the kings shilling of the Premier league for the better buzz that goes with it, but tonight I actually despised chelsea for 90 mins and I don't even like rovers. When they got that equaliser, i was squealing and the kids were hopping as well. Sad about the beating but seeing them playing games like this is brilliant as well

What do youthink about that planned third tier expansion the FAI announced last week? I'd say it'll be full of B teams and a few university teams. I don't know where they're going to get the 20 clubs to join from.

yeah,a mix of B teams and scattering of LSL and MSL clubs. Its all going to come down to financing isnt it?.I don't trust the FAI one bit,but try it and see of it works I guess.

Yeah, I watch a lot of Serie A and you could never get through a Roma game without the commentator bringing it up that the man's favourite bands are Obituary and Carcass and leaving it hanging there so you could come to your own conclusion about what a psycho he is .
