France were brutal last night. Or maybe Spain were just that good. Hopefully there's an early goal tonight, could be a cracker of a game if there is.

They've conceded only one goal so far in the tournament.

Ya, France were awful. They never turned up. Spain worked hard to nullify them and while they didn't look like the team of old, they also look like a team nearly impossible to beat.

Great seeing Casillas, Puyol and the lads in the crowd. Jaysus they were part of an incredible team.

Shamrock Rovers making Irish football history. First irish team to overcome a 2-0 deficit over 2 legs in the champions league qualifiers. They bet Florina from Malta 5-1 last night to win 5-3 on aggregate, the fuckin Cunts. B*hs scum take on the fake Brit, not from a real country mi5 loving St. Joseph's of 'Gibraltar' tomorrow, going into the game with a 2-0 lead, and Derry City face CSKA Sofia, trailing 3-2 on aggregate. Next week, newley appointed manager John Russell leads the mighty Shelbourne FC will face either Linfield (again) or Estonian side Nõmme Kalju FC who have a 1-0 lead over the Belfast club. His first game at the helm is against Kerry FC this Friday in Tralee and is the first time both clubs face each other, as far as I know.

The Roddy Bowl.

France were shite, but Spain are an awful team for them matchup-wise. France are fairly weak in midfield and Spain have prob the best midfield in the world. Didn't expect them to win just as easily as they did in the end though. Can't see either England or Argentina beating them.

As for today, hopefully Argentina remove any remaining stress in this world cup and win today. Then I can enjoy the final completely as a neutral without really minding who wins, plus the bonus of hopefully seeing that France attack destroy England's dodgy defence in the third-place playoff.
