Champions league football returns to Tolka tonight after 20 long years

Shels 1 - 0 Linfield

Was sitting right beside the away fans and it was nasty at times. Mipo got the goal and it shut them up for a good few minutes before they started back with more sectarian shit.

A lot of lads there that I've never seen in Tolka before, full of awful chants too, but over all it was good craic.

Linfield are shite, Shels atill playing cautious football and dropped off the moment we scored. Looking forward to the trip to Belfast next Wednesday.

UP THE FUCKIN REDS

Linfield 1-1 Shelbourne.
Shels progress to the 2nd round of qualifiers and play Qarabag in Tolka on Tuesday. Guaranteed 6 more European matches.
Electric atmosphere in Windsor Park, voice is gone this morning. Over the moon.

Bring Tuesday & bring on Baku.

Spotted that the Lionesses were getting beaten 2-0 so I tuned in to have a good laugh at them only to see one of the most entertaining matches I've seen in quite a while, still gutted that they won though

Crazy game alright. That Lauren James that plays for England is the best female player I've ever seen play. Way better than everyone else on the pitch last night.

I'm not sure if there's any Arsenal fans in here but my brother just met Tony Adams and got him to do the Gyökeres celebration

Just curious, what bands are you into DISRUPTER?

Heya Thorn!

That is always a hard question haha I do fluctuate and bounce between bands and genres frequently ( ADHD ;D  )
At the minute I have Mayhems De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas on a lot, they were the first extreme band to get my attention when I was younger. I love Abaddon Incarnate, Stoned Jesus, Incessant are class. I discovered Agriculture on this forum a few months ago, when they announced their Irish tour, and I have enjoyed their first release, it is something different and it is giving me that dopamine buzz!
I love grindcore bands like Wormrot and Magrudergrind. The european grindcore is also class, artists like Rotten Sound (saw them twice and told the vocalist that if you look up grindcore in the dictionary, it says Rotten Sound beside it haha)
I was also the prime demographic for nu-metal back 20+ years ago, so I will always have a soft spot for Linkin Park, Korn, and the first 3 Slipknot albums (guilty pleasures)
What ever really tickles my fancy is what I'll listen to. Outside of metal, I am a big fan of The Scratch, Kneecap, The Murder Capital. Ireland is unreal for bands right now, I feel it is my generations golden era that people of my parents age lived through (thin lizzy, u2, Horselips, Aslan etc) in my opinion.

I am always open to listen to any style or genre. What are you listening to at the minute? I'd love any suggestions  :)   :abbath:

Still buzzing from Wednesdays result and dreaming of a win or draw in Tolka on Tuesday. It is the stuff of dreams. It is what I used to cheat on football manager to see on the PC but it is real life. Can't believe it.

Home to Bohs tonight. If we get the 3 points, we are 1 point off 2nd, as Derry failed to win against a basically relegated Cork City, Drogs beating Bohs last week. The atmosphere will be lethal tonight. Can't wait.

Fair enough lad, only, I thought you may have been on the wrong forum seeing as I only ever see you here on the footy thread! You have a broad taste there for sure, I supposed what I'm listening to most at the minute are the two Sijjin albums and the brand new Malthusian and Ossuary, Malthusian of course being one of those great Irish bands of which you speak  :abbath:
