What an eejit. There's so few Irish players that ever get anywhere near anything as well

The problem with Everton is they'll expect whoever they get to over achieve completely. Would nearly be better to go down and rebuild. No financially of course.

Is it worth more to stay up or go down in the short term with parachute payments?

I remember reading some article at the end of last season by some statistician, who had been doing some work on football, and the gist of the article was that for the last couple of years Everton have been on the exact same trajectory (on and off the field) as Sunderland were a few years ago.

They were going places with Ancelotti. Fucked now.

Yeah no idea why they scrapped Carlo

Didnt he leave for Madrid again.

He quit when Madrid wanted him back, smart choice

Suppose thats fair enough. Graham Potter in an ideal world pre-Chelshit would have been ideal.

Chelsea have been rather busy this window. Surprised at jorghino to arsenal but a few quid rather now rather than nothing in a few months is probably prudent. Thought he was decent for Chelsea until Kante became perpetually injured. Talk of them selling Conor Gallagher before the deadline which I think isn't the greatest idea. Also ziyech to PSG on loan is a bit unexpected too. Thought they'd stick with him until summer

They've too many players I'd imagine.

Far as I know they can't register the new lads for the champions League without moving some on but I might be getting that wrong and it could be the homegrown thing that's causing that trouble. Can't even remember where I was reading about it now.

Anyway, came across this rather silly story while reading up the transfer speculation:

Part I found odd was reading about the other players who got done for old things.

All charges dropped in the Greenwood case.
Not the news United wanted to hear, I'd say.
