Yeah I didn't think it was bad, just sort of unusual. I'd never heard of her at all but she seems fairly popular judging off the YouTube comments which, to be fair, are probably the worst possible way to judge anything

Mdou Moctar - Afrique Victime. Came out last year and may have appeared on this thread already. Exceptional guitar playing.

One of my most listened to albums of the year so far is Charli XCX - Crash. Versatile pop, just Good Stuff imo.

Listening to The Beatles' self titled here and it's an unbelievably good album. I bought it for a euro in st Vincent's in Sligo about 2 years ago and as it goes it's up there with the best single euros I've spent. So after I bought that and then I thought I can't wait to hear all the other good stuff that these lads have thrown out over the years but luckily for me there wasn't any so I didn't have to waste my time on the rest of their catalogue

Is that 'The White Album' you're referring to? I thought it was 75% shite myself, some good tunes peppered though it but overall? Nah.

Yeah I love the thing it's mostly so stupid that it's actually brilliant

Like Cromagnon

Definitely, but that one was ego gone mad. I love the production on Rubber Soul, that's their first 'serious' album for me.

Ya, some stinkers on it but I still think it's savage.

Rubber Soul is decent as well and far more concise but it's just not as ridiculous as the self titled. Had it on in again today and it hit the spot very well

The Aristocrats live album with the Primuz Chamber Orchestra (they're Polish Kev, you're bound to absolutely love them and bring them up in every conversation from hereon out!  ;)  )

Anyway, it's deadly. Reminds me overall a bit of Estradasphere. But with, y'know, Guthrie Govan, the greatest guitar virtuoso on the planet, thrown in for good measure.

The Aristocrats were announced for a gig here next year. May head along.

Picked up from a second-hand bin. There was a period of time where they played Ireland every few months it seemed but I hadn't visited their stuff in ages. This one is way more uplifting than I was expecting/remembered. Really nice album.
