What a turn of unintended consequences. As the establishment are not running candidates, currently if the by election goes ahead his only opponent is the mighty Count BinFace. He has pledged to cap 99 flakes at 99p.
Can you imagine if he actually bet the grifting fucker.

Does there have to be a by-election? As a protest vote would labour and Tory voters vote for this Binface fella?

Even if Farage wins he'll be going from an MP to a counsellor, ya?

He's the MP for Clacton now and if he wins he's back as an MP once again for Clacton. So if the resignation goes ahead there has to be a by election.

And to your other point there actually could be a huge protest vote in Binface's favour.

It would be nice to see this by-election blow up in his face. If he got beaten by an alien with a bin for a head, even better. Although it probably wouldn't say a lot for the state of UK politics.

Fine, democracy is democracy but he /she /it / or..whatever is obviously just provocative for the sake of being . A stooge if there ever was one but whatever. Not angry just that an election should be serious,  society/ community depends on it.

In normal circumstances I would agree. But Farage created this farce by triggering the by election. And if Farage lost this it would probably end his career.

Its a he actually. He wrote on the thick of it, have i got news for you etc. Can see the quick wit alright in any interview.
