Would rather actually catch a full set, and preferably not in a big cuntin field.

Was that a bus from Mayo? When did ye set off? I remember nightmare stories from that alright, people basically 24hours on the road with only a few hours actually in Slane.

Apparently there's 2 "new" tracks being released in December. One of them 'Atlas' is another Chinese Democracy rework of 'Atlas Shrugged'.They clearly have no need to record a new album when the touring is making so much money and Slash and Duff still go off and do their solo stuff.
Pretty Vacant

Looking at the ticket pricing, if you add 128, 148 and 168 the total is almost the same as the amount of months it has been since they released anything good.

Hit off from Westport at 12, piss breaks every fucking village. Got to Slane village around 4 and still didn't make it in for kick off.

Some fucking moron got lost after, so there was a few hours of driving around Slane after the gig. Landed back home at 6.30am. I swore I'd never go back, but in fairness Metallica via the shuttle bus from Dublin was absolutely fine.

I hear ya, didn't go in 2022 because it was in Marlay Park, just don't like the place. Saw them in Slane in 2017, that was great.

Glad it's an arena and not outdoor, will try an get ticket, I'd say it'll sell out fast, surprised they are doing an arena instead of a large venue outdoors, but I'm glad.

As an FYI, in the current "Nightrain" presale, standing tickets are €138.75 each

Got my tickets for Slane through that and they were 100 euro each. There isn't a hope I'd pay anymore than that to see them these days.

Yep, I know gigs are extortionate these days but if I'm paying that much for a standing ticket I'd want to LOVE that band. If a few cheaper ones pop up closer time, might look into again.

I know touring costs have escalated for bands but when does it reach a stage that Axl/Slash/Duff 3 millionaires think it's ok to charge well over a 100 quid for a ticket. They have made serious money the past few years since reforming, enough to never have to work again.

You say "again" as if they were flipping burgers in McDonalds during the 90's 🤣

Steven Adler hasn't stopped flipping them since the early 90s

There's no way I'd pay that ticket price to hear Axl wail like a dolphin for 90 minutes 🐬 last time he sounded half decent was 20 years ago.

Anyone else have issues with the 3 presale? Sent off for the code yesterday and still nothing. Now it looks like only seating up at the back left so it seems like TM will be doing the usual dynamic pricing by pretending tickets are selling too fast.

Thanks but that's only offering early entry premium standing tickets at €342 a piece. Ticketmaster are such greedy bastards is this now what it's going to be like getting tickets for every big show from now on.
