I found Kam chatty, in a good way.

Still a great tone to his growl.
He did 1 of his screams too during 1 song.

He did tire a bit during the set, but I was quite impressed overall.
I tired too, and left early. Ha ha.

We all know Benediction are a 2nd-tier DM band, but I appreciate their work ethic. That's Birmingham for you.

Was thinking of heading up and buying a ticket at the door. Saw Massacre with Morgoth and Immolation in the early 90s and enjoyed them. Have never seen Benediction so figured it's a night out. But yeah they are 2nd tier and the less than glowing reviews have me thinking I'd be better off with my feet up in front of the stove.

To be fair Kam put up a post saying he doesn't know all the lyrics and will use a teleprompter so that's my decision made

Savage gig last night. Way better than I was expecting and I have to say, Kam Lee was an outstanding frontman. Yes he was using the teleprompter but was humble enough to take the piss out of himself about it which was a smart move. Full of energy and banter and they were all clearly enjoying themselves. Place was packed, plenty of crowd surfing and good atmos. It was a pretty short set and we were back downstairs with a pint of 21:45 which was odd, but fuck me that man can still grunt

The Benediction set was over an hour. That was only Kams second show with them it's to be expected that he's still learning the lyrics. It was just an iPad near him and it wasn't even really noticeable. Great show if it was possible I would go to Belfast tonight after last night. I wonder will Kam join now as a full member or will it be a run shows then the band splits up. They won't survive replacing Ingram with some unknown.

That gig was fucking great. Set full of belters, albeit mostly new songs. I think some of them are better than their old stuff tbh. Shame about Zealot Cult not making it. AI weren't sounding great to me this time.
