Just checked out a couple of songs from the support bands. I might have been unlucky with the songs but jaysus is all of Idles stuff that bad? I may relax heading in

Idles are great live. Think this is my 4th time seeing them and that's more times then I've listened to their albums. Just works better in a live environment. Deftones are likely to be pretty pedestrian in comparison.

What time are you hitting the stage this evening?

I'd easily take Idles over Sleaford Mods. Saw them once and can confirm they were great live,  wouldn't reach for the recordings very often. That lad from Sleaford Mods just comes across as a smug prick, don't find that with Idles at all. Nothing at all alike musically either.

Ps:I can just about hear the soundchecks from my flat 🤣

Idles set was ridiculously short- I thought they'd at least get an hour seeing they usually draw a crowd here.

Thought Deftones were great. Didn't see the other two. Sound was great from the front standing

I listened to the recent Deftones album on the plane the other day. I just find it hard to get through a full album of theirs since Around The Fur. On one hand, the production is always really good. On the other hand, every fucking song sounds identical to me and I get fed up after three or four songs.

Idles were a bit of craic. Deftones were class. Really good set as well. In bits now getting a train. Ugh.
